For the price this is a good basic guitar for a beginner; everything worked and my teenager loved it! Its good to start with soemthing like this to see whether or not you child/teenager/or even adult will even catch on to the instrument. Doesnt make sense to buy the best of the best and they try it once or twice and dont touch it again

If you're interested in a really good begginer electric guitar look no farther, you cannot beat the package you get for the price. The amp isn't the best however it works especially for beginners.
The guitar was great and all but we noticed that opening it right up out of the box the guitar had scratches on it. I'm sure to our 11 yr old son he wont notice but I would think that being brand new it wouldn't be scratched
The amp broke the same day we got it, worked for a few hours then afterwards wouldn't turn on. Not sure if it was cause of the shipping.
This guitar doesn't come with good strings, I went through five string in four days. Later on the one pickup literally halfway disconnected from the guitar. The paint also chips and it gets out of tune far too much and too top it all off, the amp has a terrible sounding drive and it also makes an awful background noise.
I bought one -tuned it- it quit working whit in seconds- very cheaply made - it's thick and nothing but a hunk of junk
