I don't actually use this for laundry - I needed something small on wheels for crafting. While it is a tad wobbly, I put light things on it so it works great for me. And the two sides have "handles" at the top which mean I can easily just pick it up to move it - it is quite light. For what I need it for this is perfect.
Perfect for storing ribbons for craft. I have 6 of them and I love them getting 2 more
Assembly took all of 5 mins I only needed help with the casters (since I have no upper body strength) My husband snapped them right in and I went to work on the baskets I followed the instructions to the letter and had no problems. However for some of you it might help to start with the top basket first (Based on the other reviews and my personal experience). It fits perfectly in my laundry room.
The cart was very nice, very good product for the price and material. Much sturdier than I first thought it would be.
This is a good cart for those little things that you need to store. I needed two of them to put under my island in my kitchen and they fit perfectly and hold a lot of things that I don't have room for in my cabinets. I have a small kitchen and these help a lot in stowing away the extras. Only one thing that is not a plus...it is putting it together....my husband had to take zip ties to attached each shelf together because otherwise it would keep falling apart when he put it all together. But the zip ties worked super and now it is very sturdy. The wheels were a bit of a pain. He had to gently bang them in with a hammer. BUT....it really is a great cart once you get it all together for use....so try it out!
I have a very narrow laundry hall, so getting the "standard size" cart was out of the question. Did my homework, read the reviews and was scared off. But after looking and looking for a cart to fit the space I had to work with, I decided on this one. When I first started assembling it, I had to use twist ties to hold it together. Then duct tape. I was ready to just have the husband weld the thing together for me when I noticed I had goofed by just scanning the instructions. I forgot to pull the frame wire up and over the center wire on the baskets and make sure the basket corners were on the inside of the frame (I know, DUH). Got a heavy butter knife to pry the frame out enough to slide over the basket wire and voila! Right now the top basket is holding 2 gallons of bleach. Second basket is holding a 100-oz detergent bottle and a 64-oz bottle of fabric softener. Third basket is holding a 64-oz bottle of ammonia and 2 bottles of Holloway House. Bottom basket is holding two 100-oz bottles of detergent and a 64-ounce bottle of fabric softener. Everything but the bleach had to be stored on their sides; but if you make sure your lids are on tight, no problem. It is wobbly if you pull it on carpet, but on vinyl flooring, it's sturdy. So far, I'm really pleased with my purchase. Didn't plan on pulling it around much anyway. I'll post a picture so you can see it - only don't look at the surrounding mess, I'm tearing up to have old flooring replaced. ;)
I do not have room for a larger cart so I am limited about which one will fit in my small washer/dryer pantry. This cart is attractive once it is assembled and the frame is sturdy, but the baskets are flimsy. Once you set laundry items in them they are more stable, but do not expect this to be heavy duty.
I bought this cart because it was the size I needed. It's pretty flimsy but I'm not going to be moving it around so I kept it. If you're going to be rolling it around, I'd invest in a better one. It was very easy to put together.
Was lured in by the price and only needed it temporarily. put it together and the baskets did not look the same, some didnt have hooks. I tried to make it work anyways and the metal baskets are so bent that they won't properly attach to the sides. The wheels would not lock into or screw to the bottom either. Horrible quality.
You pay for what you get! Flimsy and just not worth it. I put it together even though I could tell when I unwrapped it that it was not worth it. I put it together and it fell apart without touching it. Look at the pictures. Taking it back to the store!
