Greetings I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer and today I will be doing a review on the MainStays Bath Rugs which came in a two piece set. These rugs are definitely, super soft and they feel so great. What I love so much about these rugs is that they have that rubbery skid protection underneath the bottom. So, I don't have to worry about slipping when I get in and out of the tub. It is very lengthy and has adequate room where I can walk around. I love that deep gray, shimmery color because it matches my bathroom shower liner. It is very durable, has a very nice texture and weight. It absorbs water and moisture very well and is easy to wash. I also love the fact that not only can it be used for the bathroom, but for a door mat as well. Especially, on those raining days, these rugs are perfect for that occasion. There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about the MainStays Bath Rug. I truly love the color, the skid protection, the moisture absorbency, the length, the softness, and that it has more than one multiple use other than in the bathroom area. They are really, nice and useful. I just love it!
We've been using these bath mats since we got married. I love the feel of them. Not too thick, but thick enough to feel comfortable. We have some for our bathtub and shower. We place them by put sinks and stove. We place them by our washer and dryer. We place them by our beds. We have used them to line the back seat of our vehicles to absorb messes during long trips. We have placed the as floor mats in our vehicles on muddy days or trips to the beach. We have used them as gliders for large and heavy furniture moving. I prefer them as door mats on rainy days vs our regular door mats. We have used them to line couches, over and under the cushions. So many uses! And when they get dirty, we just throw them in the washer and dryer. They come out as good as new. They last through many washes. Plus, there's always a color to match your decor. Best rug/mat/cover,liner for your money.
These rugs are great if you're looking for something basic and functional in the bathroom. They are thin with rubber backing so they stay where you put them. I have the light gray and in my bathroom they appear to have an ever-so-slight blueish color. My robot vacuum rolls over them without issue, too, which is a nice, added bonus. :)
As Walmarts brand is great value, this mat certainly is. At its price point, it's exceeds expectations. I've used these brands mats for a long time and they last several years before the rubber bottoms starts to crack. I've found that the biggest offender to speed that issue up is the dryer. I'd recommend shaking this mat out as it gets dirty for the most part and limiting your washing and drying as much as possible. The color always lasts. It may not be the more luxurious memory foam type, but it does its job for sure. I do wish there were more color selections!
Good product, we have used it for two months, it is holding up well after a few washes. It is well made and thick. I recommend this product. It washes well and stays flat to the floor. It fits the bowl well.
I just repainted my guest bathroom and now that the walls are gray, I needed to match the colors. These little bath rugs look really nice and they are definitely a nice match. They are not super plush but are thick enough to not look cheap. The yarns are loose and short so it gives a nice textured 3 d appearance to the rug. The overall thickness is enough to soften the step but not anything you would sink into. Perfect for small kids or elderly so they aren't tripped by the throw rug. I will be looking for a matching toilet rug next time I'm at Walmart because these look so good. I think they are well sewn and manufactured. They are stitched completely around the edge so there isn't any fraying. They also are non slip so I won't need a separate nonslip sheet under the rug. The rubber bottom is perfect in a bathroom where floors might get slippery. Overall, these little rugs could be used anywhere. I even considered getting one for right inside my front door because they are low enough to not get caught by doors opening but still quite pretty. Overall I recommend it, the price is right for a decent rug available in many sizes and colors. .
This is a good size bath mat 19.5 inches x 32 inches. It's made of 100% polyester and it looks like a carpet. This is stain resistant, absorbent pile with skid resistant. It has a rubber backing so you won't slip on it, the rug stays in place. This is made in the USA and the fibers are made from recycled plastic bottles. It does have a rubber smell .I like that this rug is machine washable and drier safe on low. This cannot be dry-cleaned and you cannot use bleach on it. I recommend this rug because it's a good size,the edges are sewn well.
Very thin. Like almost paper thin. However it suits what I wanted it for. Ordered the pink, it seemed lighter in pictures but I still like the color. Seems like something you would find at dollar tree, material wise, without the length and width. If need something cheap and quick, get em but if want something to last a while, or be thicker, find something else.
These mainstays rugs look nice but they are extremely thin. The color looks great but soon as you step on them you feel no cushion. I went from fur rugs to these and there is a big difference. I will be shopping for more soon. If you don't care to much about the thickness then these are for you.
When these arrive they smelled awful, like mildew! I couldn't believe they would send them like that! And the mats themselves were terrible! There was patches and lines of the furry stuff just missing! Flecks of white stuff all over the mats, they were also really thin, not soft and fluffy like the last ones I purchased from Walmart. What I was sent was disgusting! Unbelievable! Tried to take pics but the pictures don't capture all the missing fur well nor the smell or lack of fluffiness at all!
