These towels are not too thin and they are not too thick, they are just right. This price is great when you are looking for towels that don't cost you an arm and a leg. I definitely will be buying more of them. Thanks WalMart!!!
I was looking for a set of towels for a new guestroom. I wanted exactly what this set is: 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths so I was looking at single priced items everywhere and coming up with a total price of $96 - which was way too much after just paying for the bathroom remodel itself. So to get exactly the 8 types of towel sizes, design, and color I wanted for $25 sounded too good to be true - so I checked the return policy and I could take them back at the store if they were too thin or poorly made. They arrive shrink-wrapped in a big bunch and right out of the bag they looked very skimpy and cheap, but they had weight to them. So I took a chance and washed them. Wow - they fluffed up nice! It was like the cotton had not been loosened up yet. Yes, there was a ton of lint, but that must be part of the process. These are great guest room towels - ALMOST hotel quality - by that I mean not the thickest towel out there, but very soft and will certainly dry in my dryer without the expense a very very thick towel would cause.
IT SERVES IT PURPOSE, GIVES OFF ALOT OF LINT, YOU'D HAVE TO WASH NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE USING THESE TOWELS.
I first bought these towels for my Mom at a store location and was blown away by how well they washed and absorbed. They do release a lot of the lint the first couple of times they are washed, but are still very thick and absorbent, then they quit shedding. The towels are large and look very much more expensive. Because hers held up so well after multiple washings I found these on the site at even a lower price and bought them for my guest suite and am completely satisfied with them. What a deal!
I saw these towels in the store and liked them very much, but the store was out of the wascloths. I then decided to see if I could get the washcloths from the Walmart website. Instead, I found the 8-Piece Towel Set at a very good price. I bought them, but the towel set has four bath towels, only two hand towels and two washcloths, so I still need two more hand towels and two washcloths to make four towel sets. If I could just buy the handtowels and washcloths seperate on the website like I can in the store it would have helped me alot more. However, I do really like the towel sets, the colors are great, the towels are fluffly and soft.
i have looked at these towels in the store and found them on for better value on line very pleased with them .
I was a little apprehensive about purchasing these towels, simply because I was worried about the red bleeding onto the white. But, I figured for the price, I wouldn't be out if they did. I purchased two sets and I couldn't be happier with the quality and overall look. They go perfectly in my son's re-decorated bathroom, and as another customer had mentioned, if I would have purchased this in-store, I probably would have spent double.
Towels are a little thinner than I prefer, but can't beat the price. It is a good value and looks good in the bathroom.
I was looking for new bath towels and saw these in the store. I couldn't get the color I wanted so checked on line for them. What I found was not only the color I wanted but also a much better price for them. I am very happy with them. In fact I was so happy for them that I purchased sets for my children and grandchildren.
I was excited to see this product for a good price. I read the only review and I probably should have waited for more. When I washed the towels I had to empty my lint tray three times. When I took them out of the dryer and shook them, it looked like it was snowing from the lint. I haven't used them yet because I am leary, but if they leave lint all over me when I dry off, I will definitely be returning them.
