Although the description of the set color said it was red it is actually burnt orange. It was very easy to put together. All pre drilled holes lined up perfectly. The seats are firm, which I love. The coffee table was very easy to put together, with the leg brackets easy to slide to line up. The only reason I gave it a four star was because I was expecting it to be red. The box the chairs came in looked like it had been at war with a fork lift. Surprisingly nothing was damaged.
Shipment arrived in two boxes. Assembly of chairs took about an hour. Table about 15 minutes. Cushions were well protected in plastic bags. Chairs are very comfortable and lean back with weight of sitter. Table of nice size and height. Looked elsewhere but this was a great value for the money spent.
I am very pleased with this set. All pieces and hardware came in the boxes, and it was very easy to assemble. The cushions are more of an orange color than red, but it looks nice. Cushions are very thick and chairs are very comfortable, with a little bounce in them. Chairs are also nice and wide and of heavy construction. Table top has a brown colored surface, covered in glass. Overall, for the price, can't go wrong!
What a great situation -- I ordered this and paid the price -- no shipping/handling. I didn't have to do any type of heavy lifting and no need to rent a truck!! Delivery company was pretty good. I can't think of anything negative to say here....the box was beat up a bit and some of the furniture had a few scratches on it -- nothing out of the norm. I've already told people about this and to get online and buy a set!!!
I'm not usually an "excellent" rating-er...;) But this time should be the exception. We shopped A LOT of sites for new furniture and ended up ordering everything we needed from Wal-Mart. It was very reasonably priced (got everything for under $800!), showed up sooner than expected and nothing broken, torn or missing. And that is saying A LOT because we ordered the High Table Bistro Set, the 5 piece Conversation Set and the 3 Seat Hammock Swing! And it was fairly easy (for my husband and son) to put together! Some of the instructions could be a little more clear, but they figured it out. LOVE them all, just need the snow to go away so we can put them on our deck and see how well they will hold up to our Wyoming weather extremes.
Well made and the chairs are extreme my comfortable. Cushions are thick with durable fabric.
Beautiful set. Nice weighty pieces. Very attractive modern looking. Easy to put together. Very comfortable. Had missing hardware issues, company has wonderful customer service, were eager to please. I received two days later. Wow! Very happy....
We are enjoying our conversation set now, however the assembly was not without headaches. One of the chairs was difficult and had to be drilled to get the bolt into the frame. No extra bolts were provided, so we had to go to a hardware store after one of the bolts broke. Otherwise, a good, comfortable set.
We received the product in two shipments. We got the table first and my husband put it together. The next week we got the chairs and to our disappointment they were burnt orange, bot red like the picture looks like. The chairs and table are very nice for the price, we were just disappointed in the color. I was able to put all of the chairs together by myself in less than an hour. We would have probably returned due to the color, but had already put the table together and had been using.
I'm torn on what to say about this product. On the plus side, the chairs are very comfortable, and I really love the smokey glass tabletop. The chairs were also easy to assemble. On the down side, the table wasn't built correctly, so when it came time to attach the legs, one of the holes did not match up with the frame. Definitely a manufacturer error, not a user error. They literally did not line up, so one of the four legs is now just leaning against the frame, not attached. Irritating. The chairs were easy to assemble, but I'm pretty sure the kit came with 15 screws, not the 16 needed, so I had to dig one up from my husband's toolbox so the back of the chair would attach to the frame. Also, no instructions came with the chair assembly, so you're on your own there (it's pretty easy once you figure it out from the picture on the box, however.) Overall, this is a decent set for the price, and it looks great, but I couldn't help but thinking, "You get what you pay for."
