This product is as it shows in the picture and description. We love it! Only problem we had was during assembly 2 of the screws wouldn't go into the chairs but other than that its a great patio set for the price!
As a review junkie, I read everyone's reviews and purchased this product sight unseen. I was concerned about the comfort of the chairs (never tested), size of the table and overall quality- because it's a heck of a deal compared to other stores! Chairs- super comfortable, table the perfect size for seating six with room for food etc and quality- very good! After first assembling the chairs with tight spaces for the screws, the table was a walk in the park! I'm a woman and accomplished this alone while caring for our active 4 and 2 year old kiddos. So happy I took the "risk"!
If you're looking to save money on a decent patio set, this entry qualifies. Having shopped online for a good bargain at Overstock, Target, Costco and Shopper's Choice I just couldn't find a table and 6 chairs I liked at my $300-$350 price point. When I saw this set on walmart.com, read all the reviews and decided to go for it. Used "Site to Store" free shipping option and saved again. In exchange for about 10 hrs assembling the set I saved at least $500 (am 67 y.o. woman with a bad back and rheumatoid arthritis and self-assembly worked OK). Am ordering a set of covers today and as we live where it freezes hard in winter it will be interesting to see if the 'tempered glass' table top survives--we don't have anywhere indoors to store it off season. That's also why I didn't give the "overall rating" 5 stars; will have to wait and see.
I read a lot of reviews before I bought this set, and everyone who said it was hard to put together was not lying! This thing is darn near impossible to put together, and takes a really long time. You definitely need two people to assemble it, so even if your husband says it's your turn to put something together since he put together the grill all by himself, you must insist that he help. Otherwise, you'll be cursing the set, your tools, and your stupid slippery fingers and be practically in tears before he finally grows tired of the whining and helps out. Beware, putting together this set will challenge your patience for each other. Apparently, saying "maybe we don't actually need this screw" is not helpful. Nor is "it will probably stay together fine, let's just be done now". However, once you have completed the dastardly task and have earned yourself experience points and several beers, you will have a nice patio set that you now can't get through the sliding door and have to take apart again. Chairs shipped out a week later than it was suppose to, but once they arrived my husband put them together by himself, took only 45 minutes to do all 6 chairs. I absolutely love them, wide and comfy
We received our site to site shipment in the expected amount of time (10 days) and upon assembling we realized that they did not give written directions for the chairs (just the nuts/bolts). So we ran into a problem with that because the toll free manufacturing number didnt really listen and sent us more nuts and bolts with again no instructions! So that was the only really frustrating thing, we had to figure them out for ourselves and it was challanging to say the least! Glad thats done and over with and now we are enjoying them on our new porch! Great set-very nuetral-I'd recommend it for sure.
This is the cheapest table set Walmart has, and it shows when you get it... The key parts to hold this table together are plastic and 3 of the 4 parts were broken, also very flimsy and cheap, you get what you pay for.
When I initially ordered the set, I received only one of the two boxes I was supposed to (received the chairs not the table) they were supposed to ship out together however they did not. I contacted Walmart and after some finagling they sent out another box. Great. Received the box and went to put everything together, no hardware for the chairs. Awesome. Went to put the table together, one of the legs was already rusted. Contacted the company who makes it and they shipped out the hardware and a new leg. Started putting it together and 4 out of the 6 chairs had difficulty lining up screw holes (one chair I gave up on completely because it was that off). Now two months later it is rusting in multiple spots. Very disappointed in set. I know it is one of the cheaper ones, however I'd expect it to last longer than this.
this thing....has potential if the factory would put the chairs together correctly. Upon receiving our order we tried to put the chairs together (need to attach the arm/leg) 4 of the 6 chairs have the cross bar bracket on backwards and customer service is closed down because of this covid stuff. The pic shows how they are on backwards...the 4th one was in a different build state. But those brackets are supposed to be facing the other way around. So all in all we got 2 functional chairs for our 6 person table.
We purchased this set in August and used it on a covered carport for about 6 weeks. Since the weather started to cool we placed the table and chairs in the garage and left them untouched until the first part of March. The next morning after putting the set out which was the first time that it had ever experienced not being covered and in the weather we woke up to the "tempered glass" table top shattered into a 1000 pieces. Nothing had fell on it and it had only rained. Called the company and they want 60 for a replacement glass and they can't put any guarantee that it will not shatter again.
