I've really been enjoying this shampoo. It's pretty gentle on your hair and has a very pleasant smell. I would describe the smell as what you might expect from a fresh rain scent. It's very nice, although it doesn't stay on your hair much at all. I wish it kept my hair smelling that way, but I'm sure it's better for my hair that it doesn't have any harsher scents added to it. One of my favorite things about this shampoo is the convenient lids it comes with. Out of the package it has a basic lid, but it also comes with a pump lid as well. I switched it out for the pump so it's quicker and easier to get out. I find that two pumps is good for my hair, which is pretty long. It's not the most concentrated shampoo I've had, but it's not bad either. I love that it has the other lid as well because it's always so annoying and frustrating to get the last bit out of the bottle. I intend to switch to the basic lid when it gets too low to pump out. That way I can turn it upside down and easily get the last of it. As far as helping with hair loss, I can't say I've noticed a difference in the two weeks I've been using it. I didn't really have a lot of hope it would work because I've tried taking biotin and that didn't help either. I though I'd give this a try though. I think my hair loss is more caused by hormone imbalances. I'm sure this could work well for other people, that's just been my experience so far. The shampoo itself is nice though, so I'm still happy that I got it. If it starts to help with my hair loss, even better.
I completed chemotherapy at the end of March, so I'm in the mode of trying to speed up hair growth! Of course, there's no way to know what is working, but I can report that I'm seeing lots of new growth (I'm also taking B-complex, which has Biotin in it). My hair is still very short, though, so I can't really speak to how the shampoo causes my hair to "behave" just yet. But my hair feels very soft. I had trouble getting this pump to work at first, but my husband got it to work--and it's always a plus to have a pump on a big bottle of shampoo. It smells clean and fresh, but the scent is very light and doesn't really linger, so if you are sensitive to scents, I think this one would work well. Overall, I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend this to anyone in my shoes (or if you just want a good shampoo).
Two months ago, I stripped my years of henna use & box hair dye using volume 10 developer + baking soda. It stripped the color for sure and also left my hair like straw. This biotin shampoo is exactly what I need! I've used for over a month & noticed a good amount of regrowth. I use about 6 pumps & massage it into my scalp & then to the rest of the hair. It has a mild but pleasant scent. Also looks like the bottle will last me for a few more months. My hair still falls out a lot as usual but it's good to see that it's growing.
I'm always skeptical of topical solutions like this, because hair issues start at the scalp as the hair grows, so how is shampoo going to fix that... But I gave it a shot, and I think it has made a difference! I didn't like the pump - it seemed to put out a meager amount of product (and I didn't have room for a pump anyway), so I chose to use the flip top. A little goes a long way (maybe that's why the pump lets out only a little...), and it lathers wonderfully. It feels nice and floopy as I wash. The only downside, in the shower, is when I rinse... I like to use a wide-toothed plastic comb to separate my curls as I rinse out the shampoo, and this shampoo leaves my hair feeling very dry. The comb snags and tangles more than when I use my typical shampoo, and the hair strands feel a little straw-like. Once I use conditioner, then my typical hair products, my hair feels fine... it's just during that rinsing. I didn't think I was noticing any difference, but I picked two photos to show the difference, and it does look a little different. In the first photo (red dress) you can see my scalp, but not in the second photo. It *could* be the light, but I don't know! I'll finish the bottle and see how it looks once it's empty.
This shampoo lathers up really well and has a clean scent. I have been using it a couple of weeks and have not noticed my hair getting thicker, but I would assume that it takes a bit of time for that to happen. The bottle has a pump top and unfortunately, mine didn't work. I had to unscrew the top.

Since turning 50 I've noticed thinning and some hair loss, I have only had this product for a couple weeks so I think it's too early to tell if it does what it claims to do - I hope so! I did have some nice volume after my initial use, this shampoo feels nice while using it (e.g. not greasy or goopy), has a very light scent and comes with a pump, contains no harsh chemicals or parabens per the label and not tested on animals.
Just started using, I am looking forward to better looking hair. Its easy to use and lathers well. Im hoping the feel of the shampoo gets better, it just feels like you haven't rinsed it out. After my hair dried it mae my hair feel clean but too dry.
Shampoo, hard to say if it's doing what it promises in just a few weeks. I like the way it smells and it lathers up nicely and rinses clean. I like that they give you the option of using the provided pump, or the flip cap that comes on it. (I prefer the cap to the pump myself) I also like that it's sulfate free and made in the USA. It left my hair soft, although I did have to use a mismatch conditioner with it, as I couldn't find a matching conditioner to use with it. Overall, I like and I really hope it does what it says, only time will tell.
My hair has been thinning for the last fast years. I have tried several different hair products and vitamins. While there has been some improvement my hair is still not how I’d like it to be. I have only been using this Biotin shampoo for a couple of weeks but I do feel that my hair feels slightly thicker. I’m hoping it will be even better with several more weeks of usage. Nice smell also not too over powering.
I do not have thin hair, but I do seem to lose hair often. I went to my hairdresser, and he couldn’t believe all my new hair growth. I’ve been using this shampoo every other day for about 2 weeks, so it could really be working. It does have a peculiar smell to me. It smells like beer, but it’s not very strong. I think it’s definitely worth trying out.
