I've been taking the Mama Bird Prenatal Liquid for the past two weeks. I wasn't sure what to expect with the texture and taste, but it's generally pleasant. More of a tart strawberry than an overly sweet strawberry. Texture is pretty smooth - not chalky like some liquid multivitamins can be. Of course, if you have a hard time taking pills, this format should be easy for you! I was a bit surprised to see that it requires refrigeration, so don't forget that! I take my vitamins at night due to some other meds I have to take in the morning, and I've not noticed any issues with stomach discomfort or nausea. Overall, pretty please with this prenatal!
I spent a lot of time doing my research and looking for the best prenatal vitamins. When I came across Best Nest Wellness I was shocked. How did I not find this sooner... Mama bird liquid prenatal multi for a healthy pregnancy is easy on my stomach and had no harsh after taste. I absolutely love that it's vegan friendly and no artificial colors or flavors!
I hate taking pills so this is such a quick and easy way to get your vitamins in. I love that you don't have to take it with food so there is no nausea like with traditional prenatal vitamins. I actually don't mind the taste of it. Just remember to refrigerate after opening.
I chose this Best Nest Wellness Mama Bird Prenatal Liquid Multi Vitamin to help with my post-natal nutritional needs. I like the strawberry flavor - it masks the signature taste that prenatal vitamins normally have. I've never tried a liquid prenatal vitamin before, so I really liked this format over taking a pill. It's only a 1 tbsp serving daily with or without food. It is easy on the stomach and does not make me nauseous. The liquid has a very thick consistency, which might be a little off-putting. If you don't like super thick liquids, you can likely mix this into a fruit smoothie. The bright orange color of the liquid is also very stark. It's a bit jarring, as it reminds me of a fish oil supplement I used to take. Those issues aside, this is a great alternative to taking large prenatal vitamin pills that you have to swallow. Definitely check your bottle closely to make sure the top seal is not broken. My bottle had a slight leak on the top from when it was shipped.
I tried this prenatal and I was pleasantly surprised. It is thick and orange when you pour it out, so it looks very off putting. It actually tastes like strawberry and it's good! I love that it has folate instead of folic acid, and includes some digestive health enzymes. Sometimes the prenatal pills can be tough on my stomach, but this didn't bother me at all! It has to be refrigerated, which doesn't bother me. I go in the fridge so often that it's a reminder to take it every day! I will continue to buy this liquid vitamin.
Haven't had any issues with it. A little sweet for my taste but I just chase it with some water. Seems to work well!
I thought that this product was maybe a little overpriced but it did help me feel healthier and better. The flavor was strong and it is really thick so I put it in a smoothie with fruit.
I was pleasantly surprised with this liquid prenatal! I've had issues with taking pill prenatals because they make me extremely nauseous, but had zero nausea with this! I've been really impressed with some of the other Mama Bird products and this is no exception. The orange color and the smell were a little off putting at first, but the flavor isn't bad at all! It's a better option than lots of the other similar products out there but it still could be better. It's great that it is non-GMO and does not have any artificial colors or flavors in it but it is not all organic. If it was all certified organic then it would be much healthier! It is helpful though if you have a hard time swallowing pills or if you cannot and need a different way.
Great alternative to the pill form of vitamins. Theres one big draw back though ... I think this should come with some sort of measurement device for your dosage! Pretty disappointed I had to try and find some sort of measuring cup to be able to ensure im taking the correct amount.
