I have been buying apple and peppermint wafers for my horse for more than 5 years. I like to give them a treat before and after I ride. So they are always happy to see me and I give them a thank you for a nice ride. My grandkid and family ride in 4H and I use the horses for search and recue county Posse.
I visit over 30 Horses regularly. They never turn away from any Manna Pro treats. Do they have a favorite, no. But I have tried other brands with them, they will smell it and then be picky with the non Manna Pro treat. So it taught me to stick to what they know is best! I highly recommend all of their Horse treats!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horses love them. They are a good size, especially for our two very eager and mouthy horses that tend to drop smaller treats. Unfortunately our micro pig loves them too and ate 7 lbs in one setting when we forgot to lock the grain stall.

The size of the wafers is nice--several fit in my pocket making them easy to carry. They have a very strong apple scent. The horses seem to really enjoy them. I trust this brand and feel comfortable with the ingredients in their products. The 20 pound bag is a good supply of wafers that gives me plenty but not so many that I can't use up before they get stale. This is another quality product from a good company.

One of our horses tried to open my truck door trying to get to the bag! These horses are older and some are blind. We love spoiling them with these!
I have been using these for more years than I can remember. The minerals and other nutrients in them help my horse, I am sure. I have provided a handful or more to others on trail rides when their horses come in tired (not fed right away, but at the evening feed).
I have been feeding these treats for years. My horses love them. I would suggest that you try to keep them full size since I find many of the treats broken in half. Make them a little larger if need be then if they break, they still prove a big enough treat.

He start smelling our pockets and can't wait or eat them. I love that not only does my horse live them but they are nutritious for him!

Friends that visit also love giving treats to them. We've been buying Manna Pro treats for some time now, and the Apple Wafers and Peppermint Wafers have a great scent that attracts the horses. While these ones are good for training, I prefer treats that are a little bigger in size.
