Over 30 years ago, I had a Thoroughbred stud, grandson of Gallant Man, who went through a barbed wire fence and sliced the front of his breast resulting in a huge long 12" or more of thick flesh hanging down many inches from the incision. It was deep enough where the muscle leaned outward from his body! I swear, all I did was drench this wound with Cut-Heal over the next weeks and without suturing of any kind, the flesh pulled back in place and healed beautifully! I still cannot believe it and for an over-the-counter preparation in treating wounds, only way to go! It made me a believer!
We had a black stallion run through a bobbed wire fence by dogs. He required several,,,,,,stitches. It looked like he wound have terrible scars. We put cut and heal on twice a day. You would not have believed it if you didn't witness the healing process. JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! I recommend anyone with animals to keep it in hand.
I bought this over 20 yrs ago and am still amazed on how it heals up a cut. The best example was a wound on the inside of my mares fetlock, started to get proud flesh from the product I was using to fill the wound. I started to use my cut-heal, it cleared up the proud flesh and healed with no scar.
I have used Cut Heal my whole life and i have never been dissapointed! I love that the wound heals from the inside out. I have used it on almost every wound my horses and cattle have.. from a tiny scratch to a 4 inch deep by 6 inch long fence post puncture. (I also studied as a vet tech and would recommend any large wound like that please be seen by a vet if you don't know how to stitch properly.) I cleaned the wound, sprayed Cut Heal inside, put some stitches in and the wound healed with little to no scarring at all after a few weeks.. of course reapplication is important after each cleaning. I will forever support this product!!
We've been using this stuff on our horses for YEARS! love it - works amazingly well. Easy to spray on - and you don't have to worry about flies. It really works.
Over 30 years on horses and myself. Just bought a new bottle tonight. Wish you would bring back the glass bottles. What ever is in second place stacked twice is not half as good as cut heal. But would sure like to see the glass bottle cone back. Cleans up cuts in days not weeks. Too bad it doesn't come in a glass bottle.
I have used Cut Heal for many years and knew the Chemist that developed it. Just two days ago I was going down my deck and saw a large black bee perched on it above a row of mint. Coming back up I put my hand on the bee. Swelling started fast so I got my bottle of Cut Heal one time was enough. The swelling was gone as well as the pain. Sending pictures of a mare that was attacked by a Pit Bull Dog in the chest The first picture is when it happened and second is two weeks later.
My horse slipped on ice that fell off the shelter roof sliding her into the center beam cutting her face. I used the Cut & Heal and if healed very quickly with no scar.
We have been using Cut-Heal for 30+ years. Easy to use, doesn't burn (have used it on myself to see), does not allow proud flesh to grow, the flies hate it, heals with very little or no scar. People think it isn't working but it seems to heal from the inside out, be patient it will close up and it can look worse before it looks better. To keep it from causing the hair to get nasty and come off below the injury, all you have to do is spread vaseline over the hair area and the draining from the wound will just run down the vaseline instead of collecting on the hair.
I bought this in a pinch because I could not find what I normally use at either of our supply stores. I used this to treat cuts on two horses and it made the cuts worse and hair where the product ran fell out (even after using the directions on the bottle to clean up excess!!). Not on just one horse but two. Now I have two bigger problems and some patchy horses.
