[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mini mare, Luna, loves this feed. The pellets are smaller than other brands. Her coat is lining filler and shinier than before. Her weight is perfect and she gobbled each meal up quickly. It has key ingredients healthy for my horse and I feel confident supplementing this feed along with hay.

They are high in fat to help build body condition it also has controlled starch and that provides a safe form of calories for our horse. It also has natural vitamin e and other antioxidants to help support your horses immune system. My horse gets picky on pellets and she loves maxe glo.

I have been feeding this product in all stages of my mares life. From her championship competition years to her retirement. She is now a healthy retired 29 year old who looks and feels great. She looks forward to her special bucket every night.
Excellent way to get them to drink during both very hot weather and very cold weather sometimes the horses Tend to not drink as much. Also good when hauling long distances. If you sprinkle rice bran in a grain pan of water stir it up, each one of my horses will drink 2 to 3 gallons of water to get to the bottom of the rice bran. The problem is they get very smart very quickly and they start to dump the pan of water so you either have to stand there with them while they drink it and continually stir it so the rice bran doesn't sink to the bottom, or hold the pan of water so they can't tip it over. I hear this trick is also very popular with endurance riders. I Personally barrel race and I find that this feed does not make them hot. It is also an excellent way to add shine to your horses coat. If you feed natural glow rice bran you have to hand out sunglasses to your friends that want to look at your horse.
I have been supplementing my gelding for years with this supplement and am pleased that I years ago I asked another horse owner what does she supplement her horse with along with hay and she told me about this product. I did not think much of a bran additive that came in a large bag and not a small plastic bucket, but my horse does glo like her's.
I have been feeding many of the Manna-Pro products for years. The best product I've found is the Max E Glow pellets I've been feeding my hard to keep weight on mare for many many years. It's the only product that doesn't matter how much I feed her she doesn't tie up and have to go to the vet. I recommend this to everyone I know.
Helps my older horse keep his weight and a bonus is a very shiny coat. Perfer the power since it is necessary to mix water . the pellet version is not good if you horse has a tooth issue.
I just bought this for my 28 yr old who need to gain weight. She seems to not like it and is objecting to having this added to her feed. Any suggestions? This is frustrating, when everything I have read says horses like it or it's palatable. Then they seem to object eating it.
