I have this available to my birds at all times and I've had no issues with digestion.
I was looking for a chick grit for our chicks and found MannaPro's Chick Git with Probiotics. The price was great and with the added benefit of probiotics which I was already wanting to add to their diet. I am super happy with it and our little chickies love it.
Interesting idea to add probiotics to grit! My chickens don't notice the difference in this grit or any other, but I personally like the fact that I know they are getting some good bacteria while taking in grit.
I have used it for years . My chickens consume it eagerly. I like having happy healthy birds.
I have used this for two seasons with my incubated chicks along with their food. They are growing rapidly which I truly believe is related to increased nutrient absorption from their food due to proper digestion with the grit and the probiotics.
It's great to include a beneficial probiotic in a needed products. it's a great 2fer
I bought this for my chickens because they seem to eat it a little more than they did their other stuff. Also, my 10 week old pullets have access to it after they go out in their chicken tractor. Really happy with this product.
