I mix it with pellets and add some water to make a mix like modeling clay and add in their medications. They absolutely love it! Two of my horses are older and need more weight on them. After 2 weeks (14 servings) I can see them fleshing out well! No ribs, hipbones or backbone showing! I was giving them all they could eat hay but they just weren't putting on weight.....now they look much healthier. I am so glad I got this!

This Manna Pro Senior Weight Accelerator smells good to even me! Its a very fine grain which makes it easy to mix in with his food and easy for him to eat. I haven't fed him long enough yet to see if it has actually put weight on him yet but his coat is shiny. I love that it only takes a little of it to do the job. I look forward to seeing how well it works for him after feeding him for a month.
I bought this product for a 26 yr old quarter horse gelding that was knocking on deaths door. He was scoring under a 0 on the health scale. I started this product on August 22 and on November 1 he was looking sk much better and has put on weight. I use this with pro force senior feed 2xs a day. His body condition now has amazed the vet and everyone that seen him before. This product is amazing and i will be using it with all my senior horses for now on.
I purchased this weight building supplement for my newly found 18 year old thoroughbred mare. She had a hard winter and was in need of tlc. After a vet checked her teeth (they were in good shape) and a wormer I started feeding senior feed 4 times daily with the weight accelerator. I feed alfalfa/timothy hay free choice but it was the high fat supplement that really helped her blossom. She is gaining a pound a day and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend adding this supplement to any horse that needs weight.
I'm very pleased with my decision to use the supplement. A healthy horse is a happy horse.
My horse loves it. I started giving it to her last week so I haven't seen any results yet. I also wanted to know what happened to my scoop that was supposed to be in there?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my senior weight accelerator for my OTTB who's isn't a senior, but he struggles to hold weight and is near impossible to put weight on. He really enjoys the supplement and has no problem eating it when mixed into his daily meals. Super easy to figure out serving size, great size bag for easy storage in smaller areas, and is resealable which is great.
We have a 26 yr old mare who has had a hard time keeping up her weight. We tried increasing her grain and hay intake. She's so picky about her hay and we didn't notice a change. We decided to try this supplement as well as alfalfa pellets with her diet to help her gain weight. We feed her 2 scoops 2x as well as a scoop of alfalfa pellets with her meals as well as hay. She has had such a rough life and is a retired race horse. She has been prone to colic on and off for the past year. Since we have added this to her diet, I feel that she is thriving! She hasn't had a colic episode! Her health is better and she's gaining weight!! She still has more to put on, but she looks 100x better and I love watching her progress!! This old lady still has more weight to gain, but she is doing so good!! I will forever swear by this stuff now!!
