The Marantz MM7025 2-Channel Power Amplifier features current feedback circuitry and a high-capacity power supply - the EI-core transformer and ensures distortion-free sonic reproduction of the most complex audio sources, be it dynamic musical peaks or whispered dialog. Measuring less than 14” deep from front panel to rear speaker terminals, this stereo power amp has a sophisticated and elegant industrial design. The chimney-shaped heat sink efficiently processes the heat emitted from each side of the amp and a quiet cooling fan removes the heat from the chassis, cooling the inside. A high-sensitivity temperature sensor IC is used to control the cooling fan's rotation speed to minimize noise. This unit is equipped with a remote power control function. The RCA Remote Control input is connected to the preamp and the output can be connected to other compatible Marantz components; CD player, DVD player, Tuner, etc.

This receiver produces beautiful, clear sound. The electronics are flexible and easy to use, from radio tuner, to iPod, to satellite radio, to phono, and more.
I have been using the MM7025 to power my front left and right speakers in a 7.1.4 setup for around four years. It seamlessly integrates with my Marantz SR7010 AVR in both form and function. There was a measurable difference in my front stage after adding this amplifier versus powering from the AVR alone. I have had zero issues with the unit and highly recommend it.
Thunderous. I like how beefy music and movies sound since adding this amp
Use it as a dedicated stereo amp for 16bit Flac music, opened up my sound stage vs AVR only
I bought the MM7025 to power a pair of Acoustic Research 303's that each have a nominal impedance of 6.5 ohms and have a max. power rating of 250W. Originally, I thought I needed 200 wpc to make my speakers come alive but the MM7025 exceeded my expectations. I get great sound stage with amazing imaging and clarity. Previous to owning the MM7025, I had a 7.1 ch. home theater AVR with 100 wpc but decided to return to 2 ch. audio with a separates for greater fidelity. In operating my new system, I had to boost treble to hear the highs so the speakers sound more comparable to today's smaller speakers. Sometimes, I needed to decrease bass to hear dialog better when watching movies. This amp performs well. I'm not sure if the sound improved after some break-in time but it seemed like it did. There were a couple of times in which I thought that the volume increased slightly by itself. These experiences however could be psychological. Overall, I would buy this amp again and I recommend it to anyone who wants the power it provides.
I am looking to buy this power amp to improve on my nr1510. It is important for me for the mm7025 to turn on automatically with the nr1510. Will the remote control-out (RC-5) turn on and off the mm7025 if I connect to the remote-in (RC-5) of the mm7025? What type of cable do I use? (regular rca?) Are there any settings in the nr1510 I have to toggle on?
Perfect, easy integration with my SR6011 and definitely opened up my Vienna Acoustics Mozarts, which already sounded very nice but soundstage, detail and bass noticeably came alive after adding the MM7025. It's a quality piece that performs as advertised. I'm a fan and my only hesitation is wondering if I should have gone with the 7055 to let the rest of my main surround setup have 5 channels of clean power goodness. But I think this definitely covers the most critical ground and gives the 6011 some breathing room to handle center, surround, atmos and outdoor speaker duty. Amp and system runs cool with these speakers at 85 db+ listening (fan hasn't kicked on that I've noticed) but will add cooling as needed or if my new Reserve R600s prove to be a bit less efficient. All in all, highly recommended.
I have this AMP paired with a Marantz SR7011. It's a little pricey (at least for me), but you get what you pay for. I could not be happier with it. I am running 11/2, a combination of MartinLogan's and Klipsch 12" subwoofers.
Good clean sound stepping up the power of the Marantz Surround Sound Reciever NR-1607.
Good sound, solid bass. The speaker binding posts are its only weak link as they cannot accept spades.
