I have had this bike for about a month and have not had any problems with it. It is comfortable and easy to use. My husband and I just needed a good bike at a reasonable price without all the unnecessary bells and whistles, and this fits the bill. I just hop on it every morning and do my 30 minutes, and adjust the resistance as needed. It doesn't read pulse/heart rate, but this wasn't something we were concerned with. When we need to move it we just pick up the back end and easily roll it to the other room. Highly recommended!

This is a very sturdy bike that is also very comfortable. It was easy to assemble and well worth spending a little more for than the least expensive model.

I can't get over the fact that I got a nice, magnetic resistance exercise bike for under $300! I picked it up from Walmart expecting to need help getting it outside and into my car. The box actually fit in the shopping cart. I'm a fairly strong woman (5'8" and 44 years old) and I didn't have any problems getting it into the car and out of the car into the house. Putting it together was a breeze! I've never purchased anything that required assembly that was as easy to put together as this was. I took my time doing it and I'd say it took maybe a 1/2 hr to unpack it all, put the nuts and bolts in piles, and assemble the bike. It was actually relaxing putting it together. It is very quiet and easy to use. Like other reviewers have said, the electronic read-out is basic but I don't need much more than that. In fact, as basic as it is, it's still more than I need. It's pretty sleek looking when it's put together and it really feels solid. My only hope now is that it doesn't become a clothes rack. :oP

Marcy Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

I read all the reviews, compared all the products and made the choice. This is better than other exercise bikes I've used. It is QUIET due to the magnetic resistance. Arm rests are positioned comfortably, a factor in my choice. All the parts and tools needed to assemble it were in the box, which is somewhat heavy. So just open it and carry it inside in pieces. No problem. I use it 3x/wk and my wife uses it 4x/wk. Controls have a LARGE display, easy to read. Adjustments are easy, twist the dial. It is so quiet, that listening to podcasts, music or programs are not drowned out. I am a skeptical shopper, and not easily impressed, but this exercise bike is great. Site to store is a snap. They even helped my wife put it in the car. Did I mention that it's QUIET? That is a real big plus. Negatives? Hmmm... the seat is a little hard compared with others I've used. That's all I can think of. Don't let the hard seat deter you, this is a great product. The positives far outweigh the only negative. Buy this thing!

This bike, and especially the digital readout, is very basic indeed...came packed in a box small enough to fit in just about any car...50+ lbs though. Twelve year old daughter and I put it together in literally less than an hour....which is to say I put it together and she held the instruction book. All parts were there, and it came with all tools for assembly. We have ours on a carpeted floor, so i'm not noticing any problems with the bolt on the bottom. I weigh roughly 200 lbs. and it holds me just fine.....thanks to the magnetic resistance wheel, this thing is super quiet as well. So, if you don't need a lot of bells and whistles, then this is a great buy!!!

I'm a woman in my mid 40's, I put the bike together by myself in about 30 minutes. I did need help getting the box in the house..it weighs about 50lbs. I'm only 5' 2" and at that time I was just over 300lbs, and it accommodated me just fine. I've put about 300 miles on it, lost close to 50lbs, I love that its quiet, I love the digital read out and being able to set it for how long I want to ride.

Great Product for the Price

I want to start my review by saying that I am reviewing this product based on value given the price paid. I paid $190.xx after tax (and free site-to-store). Overall, I am impressed with the product. It certainly isn't Gym quality, but to get to that level you are looking at far more cost than the <$200 price tag. The kit/box was small in size (fit in my trunk easily) and comes with everything you need for assembly in terms of tools. Assembly took approx 30 minutes, although I did use my own tools (sockets, wrenches, etc) vs the tools provided. The action and movement are smooth... Ie: no lags or free spots in the pedal action, but we have only been using it for a few days. It is a bit cumbersome to adjust with regards to length, but in most cases, once you have it set up initially, you shouldn't need to adjust the length over and over. My only real complaint would be the "computer". The buttons are very sensitive and it seems to take several attempts to get to the display that you are after (Ie: Scan, Time, Speed, Distance, etc). Beyond that, speed and distance are measured/displayed in kilometers and kmh vs miles/mph. Not a huge deal, but kind of an annoyance in the U.S. If you are looking for a cheap, but good bike for working out at home, this fits the bill. It is not professional grade, so if you want to do heavy-duty riding or want something that is closer to gym-quality, you are going to want to look at the pricier models.

I have been using the bike just about every day since we got it earlier this month. I have already noticed some results just from the way my pants have been fitting. I am taking it slow and not trying to just lose weight but trying to really take care of my body through 30 minutes of exercise daily. I like the bike so far. Only downsides are the seat is not real heavily padded and the computer is a little basic. Other than that we put it together in under an hour and it was simple. Site to store made shipping free and it fit in the back of my car.

This was a birthday gift for my father who has Multiple Sclerosis. He can walk with a cane, but cannot rely on any real form of exercise to keep him healthy. As a former athlete he longed for something to keep him healthy without jeopardizing his balance/weak muscles. This bike was it. He loved it. Unlike other bikes that have you swing your leg over the seat this one allows him to sit in it as though he is sitting in a table chair. The straps keep his feet on the pedals and 'arm rests' allow him to push himself up when he is finished. He can watch tv when he uses it as it is quiet (at least at the speed he uses it) and I have high hopes that this will compliment his physical therapy. Physical health is so important to mental well-being and although he won't be running any marathons ever again this bike will help my dad reach that level of satisfaction with himself and his condition.

Quiet, great value, only a few problems

Shipped to me very quickly! I got it much sooner than expected. We have a had a few problems with it: a slight clicking noise on the left side, but I hardly notice it, and the "reset" button seems not to work - I have to take the batteries out when I'm starting a new workout so I can start everything at zero. It's very comfortable and fits a range of heights. I'm 5'6" and my husband is 6'6" and we could adjust it shorter or taller, so it should be usable for anyone of any height. It's really hard to adjust the length, though, I can't do it without the help of a second person. I am not used to recumbent bikes, and I have to use a higher tension (it goes from 1-8, eight being the highest tension) in order to keep my 'stride' even all the way through. I don't think that would be a problem on a vertical bike. But overall this is a fantastic bike for the money and I would highly recommend it. The negatives are slight and aren't worth spending more money for a different bike. It's very quiet and easy to use!
