Marie's makes the best salad dressings on the market HANDS DOWN!!! Marie's Salad Dressings are THE ONLY store bought salad dressings that do not have that vinegar 'bite' with every mouthful like every other salad dressing on the store shelves has!!! They are not the same, and they are not as good as good as, the Marie's Salad Dressings sold 30 years ago, but they are still the best tasting salad dressings that you can buy!!!
This blue cheese dressing has been part of my life since I was a kid. The thing I like most about it is that it's not sweet or super runny like other brands! You don't need copious amounts of sugar and yogurt to make a good dressing! If you're on the edge between this and another brand, get a pack of celery sticks and open both dressings. You will prefer Marie's, hands down! Some things without sugar are just BETTER. Marie's Blue cheese dressing proves that.
My absolute favorite blue cheese. The quality freshness and flavor of this blue cheese is superior to all the shelf stable brands. I always buy the large size 2 at a time. Great taste I put it on everything.
Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese is the best bleu cheese dressing on the market. I prefer the extra-chunky version, but it's rarely available. Regardless, both versions are creamy, and even the bites that lack a bleu cheese chunk carry a very good (and strong) taste of bleu cheese, and Marie's leaves a good taste behind (nothing slimy or weak). If Marie's Chunky (or extra chunky) Blue Cheese Dressing isn't available, I refuse any substitutions. Marie's is great as a dip with wings, on salads, and drizzle some on a steak hot off the grill... divine!
Literally THE ONLY BLUE CHEESE dressing we use (after having taste tested all the alternatives). We sprinkle a bunch of crumbled bleu cheese on our salads then top with Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese dressing almost every day for YEARS now. Those negative reviews could all be reversed if those folks would simply (1) check the "good before" date prior to purchase and (2) shake it up prior to each use.
Have bought Maries chunky blue cheese for years. Now that they have thinned it out, (makes it runny), and the amount of actual blue cheese has been reduced. Very little Blue Cheese flavor at all. We have changed to Marzetties, which has a great blue cheese flavor and some actual blue cheese chunks in it.
This the second time within two months but at two different Walmart's we've purchased the Marie's Calendars Blue Cheese dressing, It must be a refrigeration issue.
I love this dressing. this bottle was out of date by4 months! yuckkk it was really bad .
