This stuff is AMAZING! When I was in my 20s I used a similar product from Revlon, which has since been discontinued. I searched all over the internet for something that could compare, and found this from Mario Badescu. It removes ALL traces of makeup, including waterproof mascara, AND moisturizes the skin around my eyes. Twenty years later, I'm noticing the amount of wrinkles around family's eyes, and how I have NO crows feet at all! (BONUS!) I've been using it for 15+ years now, and so have both my adult daughters. We love it. If you use it correctly, this little jar goes a LONG LONG way. You don't need to glob it on in order for it to do it's job. Apply it sparingly.
This is one of the absolute best eye makeup removers that I have found. I wear waterproof mascara and eyeliner and I've tried a multitude of different removers. This is the one for me. No scrubbing, no burning. It removes it easily and wipes right off.
I just purchased this product and LOVE it! Before I would always use eye make-up remover pads that were already pre-soaked in solution. They would usually dry the skin around my eyes out real bad and never really get all of my waterproof mascara off. But since trying the eye make-up remover cream, it is a dream come true, it gets all my make-up off and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized!
I have been using this product for years -please do not ever discontinue it - I would be lost :( I have tried numerous eye make-up removers and this is the only one that doesn't irritate or burn my eyes. The others don't get all the eye makeup off either..this is a life-saver!
I have used this product since 2007. It was part of my first-ever order, and has been a necessary item for me ever since! I use a small amount and then wipe away gently with a damp tissue. I think the product itself has helped to minimize wrinkles around my eyes, as well as the fact that there is very little pulling when I wipe it off. I love all MB products, but this one is tops. Love it, love it, love it! Please don't ever discontinue!
It removes any eye makeup very easily. I wet the cotton ball first and squeeze it to remove any excess of water. Then I put the cream around my eye area and start removing the eye make up with the cotton ball. The only con it has mineral oil. I make sure I rinse the eye area well to avoid any oily residue.
I was expecting a lotion that would easily remove mascara and brow products, but it is literally petroleum jelly. It smells like it and feels like it and it is the first ingredient. It also does the exact same thing any cream would do if you put it on makeup and wipe. Definitely get a liquid remover!
I looked for days on which makeup remover I want to buy. I only wear mascara and just wanted something gentle enough that didn’t pull my eveylashes out. I do not understand this product. I have tried using it before washing my face, after washing my face… my eyes literally burn so bad the next day after using it. I hate the way it feels, like Vaseline. I’m so so disappointed in this product, and normally I love everything I buy from MB.
I really wanted to like this product because I already have so many Mario Badescu favorites! But it was not to be. I am not sure what eye makeup this might remove - perhaps just mascara? - but it did not take off my eye liner nor my waterproof mascara. It only smeared everything around and made my eye area very greasy. It seems to be just straight petroleum jelly - basically vaseline. I would not recommend this for anyone who uses any waterproof eye makeup.
First, this is not a cream, it is a grease. I felt as if I was rubbing Vasoline on my eyes. Second, it does not work. I attempted to get mascara off with this and it barely touched it, it also does not get foundation off. Any makeup that it does remove probably just soaks back into your skin since you also cannot wash this off your face because it is so greasy that it repels water. I had to go over it again with a makeup remover. Do not waste your money on this product.
