how do you make it soo cheap.. lol but dont stop.. Mick
It is super tasty! It makes great sandwiches and great side bread to go with your meals. Just the smell makes my mouth water
The bread itself is just kinda plain white/Italian style bread. The seasoning is excellent... soft tiny bits of onion with garlic and poppy seeds (the onion flavor really stands out) and sesame seeds and salt. My complaint is that the slices are fairly small. Not thin slices, but the loaf itself needs to be narrower and rise higher to give more of a square loaf for sandwiches. When I find them, the loaves are flatter and wider, yielding long narrow so slices (not good for sandwiches.)
Hi. This inexpensive and super-tasty Italian loaf with its garlic, onion, poppy & sesame seeds make it a fine choice EXCEPT that the loaf is excessively salty. I cannot understand why the bakers have added so much sodium/salt! [] Can you imagine one single slice of this delicious MIBE has more sodium than ocean seaweed? For comparison purposes, I took my nori Japanese seaweed = SeaSnax Organic Classic Single. = 1/2 Pack (0.27 oz / 7.5g) has only 60mg of Sodium. As compared to 550mg with the Marketside Italian Bread Everything. *** Can Walmart reduce these high sodium levels? I know it can be done because for example - your Marketside French Bread (UPC 681131136198) - has 340mg of Sodium Per Container/Slice. (14% Daily Value on a 2K calorie diet) These 340mg are still on the high end but not as outrageously extreme as the 550mg Sodium Serving Per Loaf of the Everything Italian Bread. *** Thanks for taking the time to fix this. ***
Everything would be fine if it was not so salty, unless you plan on tearing off the seasoned part. Please do not add any salt.
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Thank God it was only $1.47! Way too much salt. 😖 I saw more grains of salt glaring at me than I did the seeds. I thought maybe scraping everything off the top would help...nope. I'll just try the plain loaf next time....
