We lightly toasted it and found it delicious. We ate some some a little hazelnut spread, but honestly, we loved it just by itself, right out of the toaster oven. I think it would make amazing french toast.
Wow! It was so yummy that I had to hide it from myself so my hubby could try it. When he did he said "Please get more" Going to try to make a Bread Pudding with it, and then will experiment with French toast. Meanwhile will try to hide an extra to just EAT...for me, myself and I. So darn good.
I really like how this bread is not super sweet, but just sweet enough to cut yourself a slice and have with a cuppa coffee in the morning. I also think this would be really good as sliced bread for French toast, but I haven't tried that yet. Will do that next time.
I first bought this bread because I hadn't seen it before and it looked tasty. I went home and made a cup of coffee and cut a piece of this brioche bread. I took the first few bites and I was definitely hooked, I ate the piece I had cut and then I cut another piece to finish my cup of coffee. I have bought this brioche bread every week and a half since I first bought it because it's so delicious, it's so soft, and it smells so good. I hope Walmart keeps selling it because I will keep buying it, it's my favorite flavor so far of all of the flavors there are.
Everything about this loaf was fine...except that it was made with REALLY cheap chocolate.
Love the bread, the chocolate was another issue. Didn't like the texture of it, it was more dark chocolate I guess that threw me off and that affected the taste for me. It wasn't horrible but not my favorite. Saw there was a vanilla flavor of this bread, I might try it before giving up on this dessert bread.

Lowest quality chocolate that is almost "chemical" in taste and smell.
poorest substitution I have ever received chocolate brioche bread is nowhere near rye bread now I have no bread for pistrami sandwiches I am very displeased maybe the shoppers should have the chat feature that Instacart uses at least you can comunicate with the shopper
For a somewhat expensive item, I expected it to be delivered within date. I opened it, sliced it, expecting the usual soft danish, but instead received a very stale tasteless blob. Very disappointed.
