We bought this the other day without reading the reviews and I am glad we didn't read it first. All the bad reviews must not know how to prepare it correctly because it is GREAT!! I emptied the entire package on my flat top and started working it. I used my spatulas and chopped the meat up finely while cooking. It took no time to cook, and the seasoning was really good!
Love this for a tasty quick dinner! Add a can of crushed or pineapple tidbits. Cook down until the pineapple juice cooked into the meat and starts to caramelize. Make into tacos with onion and cilantro. Yum!
Really taste great and my family enjoys the tacos we make with this!
This is so good. I travel to Mexico all the time and this so so close to original Pastor. The key is cook it on a flat top with a little oil, add an entire can of crushed pineapple. Cook down the liquid and keep cooking until the sugars start to caramelize. The kids won't even eat other tacos after having these.so sad Sam's doesn't carry this anymore.
At first was expecting a more traditional taco shop flavor. This was different and at first wasn't sure what to think. After a while, I enjoyed the flavor and loved it. My son who is picky also ate many tacos!
Super easy and delicious taco filling
Very good. I wanted to make these from scratch but it takes a lot of work so happy I found them already seasoned at Sam's. They made delicious tacos.
Little to no flavor when cooked, very chewy as well no matter how I cooked ir
With such low ratings, I'm honestly surprised Sam's Club still carries this product. Bland flavor, weird balls of fat(I was skeptical about that comment - but it's...true???), and just looks like fatty ground pork. I had to add chorizo seasoning to try and save it. It'll eat, so it gets a 2. This stuff is just plain weird, and now that my curiosity has sufficed, I will never buy this again nor will I recommend it.
This is all pork trimmings covered is seasoning and that’s it’s. This should NOT be sold! tendons, silver skin, ligaments, and balls of fat! So much seasoning to cover the look!
