The excellent price arrived everything without incident, extraordinary
This game has been an absolute gem, was worried about my pre-order considering everything that has gone wrong, and continues to go wrong with Marvel's Avengers. This is nothing like that.
This game is well worth the playthrough. Very enjoyable, comedic atmosphere. Sadly the voice actors are not the same from the movies, but that can be expected and does NOT take away from the enjoyment

This time the cosmic deluxe edition indeed comes with an extra steelbook case just like they promised. I'm glad they didn't disappoint me like last time:))
Half way through the game and I love it. I don't play a lot of single player video games. But this takes the cake. Haven't had this much fun since the spider man games. You won't be disappointed
Let's start off with the bad: the gameplay kinda sucks. There's a few waves of enemies per encounter, and you just sorta run around mindlessly blasting while waiting for the other guardians abilities to finish their cooldown. Exploration isn't that exciting either, while the environments are gorgeous the rewards range from a small pile of scrap (or *medium* pile! Lucky you!) to a costume for a guardian (ngl, those are pretty cool. Costumes are a fun reward). It doesn't help matters gameplay-wise on PS5 that your two video options are 4K at 30fps or 1080p that only *targets* 60fps. So all in all, not a very good game. HOWEVER, this *is* a fantastic movie. Visuals are gorgeous (especially when playing at 4K30fps, the only time i recommended doing so), story is interesting, banter and conversations between characters is really fun, the music (both licensed and original) is top notch, the decision making aspect is really fun, this game is sorta like an episodic adventure like Telltale makes that has been restructured into being a third person shooter. It's kinda weird, ngl. But it's also a lot of fun, and is easily worth the $30 I paid for it. If you're stuck with a PS4, I'd hold out a while longer. This game doesn't perform very well on last gen machines, and will be worth waiting to play on more powerful hardware.
My order was confusing when I received it. I received Gurdians of the Galaxy deluxe edition but there was another box thrown in as well. It was a empty broken box of the Guardians of the Galaxy for PS5. Why would someone do this. I was giving this as a gift and had to contact Walmart for help, than realized I needed to ask the person it was meant for if something was wrong with this order. Other than the extra garbage thrown in the answer was no. So I gave a lower rating for the confusion and waste of time
I should just expect anything shipped from Walmart to be destroyed upon arrival. Walmart “exclusive” steelbook is scratched like it's been through a shredder due to being shipped so poorly in a bubble mailer. Which, the bubble mailer was torn open when it arrived. The game was fine though so that's why it's not a 1 star. But at this point I should have just bought it else where.
Came smashed and broken. It was the only one they had at the time so they could not send a replacement. I had to keep the game and give it as a gift as it was, if I wanted to make sure he got a xmas gift, even though the cases were completely broken.
