By far one of the best RPG games I've played. Great storyline, guns are great.
If you've played the first one and liked it then you'll love this one. There's more intense shoot out action scenes and there's quick time events during conversations where you can choose a renegade or paragon action based on the side you decided to level up. The upgrades for your weapons and armor are streamlined this time. Equipping upgrades to your pistol for example doesn't involve as much menu time trying to figure out what upgrades you want to keep and remove based on the enemies your fighting. I am approximately 15 hours into this game and it's been a blast. My Shepard looks like me and I chuckle a little every time someone asks me me to make a big decision in the game. It's easy to get lost in this game for hours. I recommend this game to all who like shooting style games with explosive barrels, having meaningful conversations with your fellow crew members, leveling certain character attributes up, and playing the game as though you're the main character.
if you loved mass effect 1 then you'll love mass effect 2 it continues the story nicely and you can import your mass effect 1 profile into number 2
This game, unlike any other I've played, seemlessly blends role playing, a wonderfull story in a well developed universe, and shooting action. Unquestionably one of the all time great games.
This is just hands down a amazing game. It is in my top 5 of best games ever made. The storyline is just un-real and you ask yourself "how do people think of this awesome stuff".
graphics 5 story/plot 5 programmng/errors/copy protection hassle 5 length/ability to free explore/time to complete game 2.5 Great game totally was a good buy. Only complaints are was too easy to win (too short finished it in 3 days, option to go back and explore was there however not much was left to expore and do once all the missions were completed) Customization of charater was limited, limited armor/ appearence.. with select bonuses I downloaded all the expansions they offer (another $25 bucks) and it helped a little however.. it sill was disappointing in that area.
Buy this product only online. Price is much less online than in store. For the online price, this game is well worth it. The game is amazing and fun filled. The different classes and ways you can play the game are great. I'm about 5 hours into the game and have enjoyed just about every moment.
This game more than met my high expectations for a Bioware game! Stunning graphics, terrific story, great gameplay, the most in-depth and interesting characters. If you are looking for a great sci-fi/fantasy role playing game, this is a great one. A perfect follow up to the original Mass Effect.
Great game but they want to sell you content to complete it. When you buy the game you can play it just fine and it is a very fun game. The only problem is that you need to get the extra missions to open up all your options in the later parts of the game. My son has the same game on console and it already had the extra missions.
I bought this game hoping it would be up to par with games like fall out 3. I didnt find the game as entertaining as fall out. I did not find the controls difficult like someone else on here suggested. If you follow the tutorial in the beginning and read the directions etc, there really isnt very many buttons you have to push. Besides you can choose what buttons you want to use to control things. There is a lot of cut scenes in this game and a lot less action. That is my biggest disappointment with this game. It plays more like a movie than anything else. However I still have fun playing it and I would recommend it to others. I wouldnt say that it was really re playable though.
