[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy process to set up. The key is inserted into the lock after you open it. When you turn the key sideways, it locks into place, allowing you to set the combination of your choice. Once satisfied, remove the key and you're done! Simple and easy. It is critical to keep track of the key so that you can reset it in the future. My daughter needs one for her gym locker, so this is a convenient way to protect her items from theft. As far as durability goes, it's above and beyond perfect for the purpose we are using it for. She is Eight, and can unlock it easily after working with her. We love it!

Love it. Easy to use and secure
We had the same lock for over 15 years . We used it to lock our shed doors. Through all the elements all year long it always worked. Just recently we started to have trouble locking it. I would recommend it to anybody. Its a very sturdy lock.
It's not exposed to rain where I am using it but it's solid and operates smoothly and without difficulty. Seems to be of high quality. I just wonder if some implement other than the little key that comes with it can be used to change the combination and/or pick the lock?

It seems like finding keys is harder than remembering a combination so I always can open it at any time. It works both indoors and out and is sturdy, well built and dependable. Don't need batteries, internet or a cellphone to use it. Like that it also comes with a small key just in case I forget the combination I can still open it. I'm going to love this lock for a long time!!! Highly recommend!!
I have used these locks for several decades and they are reasonably reliable outdoors, if you lube twice a year. My last purchase, the dials all turned at the same time, which made it difficult to operate. I needed to use 3 fingers to hold the dials I was not turning, to set the combo to open. Otherwise the locks worked fine. I guess poor quality control at factory.
