For the price and what this little smoker is and can do its dynamite ! I've made smoked chicken wings , sausages , pork ribs , Turkey and even brisket ! This in my opinion is a great starter smoker for someone looking to experiment and learn or someone who has a small space to work with.
Happy with this purchase! This is a great smoker, especially for the price! We've used it for parties several times.
This is a great first smoker. Inexpensive so I do t modifying it and experimenting. The thermometer is useless, but that's not a problem to me because I use a ThermoPro remote thermometer with separate probes for the chamber temp and the meat temp (you should do this, regardless of what smoker you use). I charcoal chamber with holes for better circulation and I put a grate in the bottom to let ash fall away from the coals. Next I'm thinking of adding a propane kit.
Overall pleased with the smoker. Only recommendation is there is now way to open the side access enough to allow air flow over the coals to increase the cooking temperature. I had to use a stick to create small ventilation. Other than that it worked just fine.
Just bought this snoker. The thermometer is terrible. I had the charcoals and chips really hot. The water was boiling and the thermometer only read 150. Tried venting and it didnt help.
Grill is OK doesnt get hot enough for me per gauge has never gotten above 200 degrees so doesnt cook as efficient as it should if that worked well would be great smoker
Flavor of first attempt brisket was great. Only complaint is couldn't get to suggested temp,"350 deg.", for seasoning. Price was right.....
I can't get the charcoal grill smoker hot enough to season the inside. I requires it to reach 350. The Highest temp I reached was 250 degrees. A little concerning.
Received a bullet smoker as a gift and it had multiple missing parts including the cooking grates, temperature gauge, and rack supports. After notifying the manufacturer, they sent missing parts but still did not include all of the rack supports...not good.
Received this as a gift a few years back and smoke my turkeys on it. While the turkey taste amazing, it takes over 12 hours to smoke because this product just do not hold it's temperature. It barely gets up to a 200 degrees to temp.
