We had the pleasure to test out the Emme 360° Rotating All-in-One Car Seat as a member of Stellar Product Tester Panel. We were excited to see if the rotating feature is worth the hype! Upon opening, at first sight we noticed the stylish design - the various greys and black look clean and classy. The fire-resistant fabric, extra cushioning, and added support are not only stylish, but safe and comfy as well! The removable insert seat pad is not something every car seat has but should! Parents of babies and toddlers - you know what I mean. Diaper blowouts, urine leaks from mis-aligned diaper, spilled water, etc. can happen, but when you have a removable pad, you still have a clean car seat! An additional awesome feature are the belt straps' silicone grips - what a great idea!! No slipping and still comfortable! Couple with the ability to switch between 3 modes (rear-facing, forward-facing and belt-positioning booster) I see no reason why it could not last for 10 years; when it looks this stylish and has a high-quality build, being able to use it for nearly a decade is a plus. Next up - the install: I have installed at least a dozen different car seats, and the instructions could use some work - maybe it was the photo that confused me. Either way, I put the manual aside and installed using the LATCH system. It was quick and easy. I validated my installation with the manual and was able to then decipher the instructions. Honestly, it may have been my issue in not understanding the instructions, but it's important to know, nonetheless. The operation: the 360° rotation seat design is definitely worth the hype - no more lifting your baby/toddler over the arm, potentially straining your back to get them in. Getting our 2.5-year-old in and out of the car is easier than ever by squeezing the handle and rotating. It locks into loading and front/rear facing positions. Now, the handle may be difficult for some as my wife had difficulty each time. All in all, 5 stars!!
I received this convertible car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm so glad I did. I knew of newborn seats, toddler seats, booster seats and convertibles seats - but I never heard of 360 rotating seats! We are a city family so we only drive a few times per month. But I also actively avoid driving because the struggle of buckling my little one into the car seat, especially in the winter, vs just heading out in the stroller is something I look to steer clear of. But this car seat changes all of that! Being able to turn the seat to face me at the door makes it so much easier to get my 28 lb toddler in and out without bumping his head or me maneuvering in all sort of uncomfortable ways. After he's in, I generally struggle to pull the threads to be really tight from the angle of the seat and my position - but again, facing me straight in makes it so much easier to tighten and loosen. Installation is always a dread or pain point but this was truly a breeze. I love that they will walk you through it with an appointment and I was prepared to need this but just played the video on their website as I installed and it took me no time at all. I love the red/green system for confirming when the seatbelt strap is tight enough. On traditional convertible car seats, I'm pulling at it each trip and wondering if it is too loose but this system makes me feel secure and there really isn't any wiggle room. I also love that you install it once and you are done. So when I decide to change my son to forward facing it won't be a big reinstallation process. The base is in and then I'd just rotate him forward vs backward. The no rethread harness makes it easier to have him stay in it as he grows too. We are a long way from 10 years old (what the chair says it is good through) but I could see using it through at least 6. The seat was pretty roomy. Another nice touch is the cup holders - got his water bottles and good for snacks but they also pop out easily for cleaning.
We have been very pleased with our Maxi-Cosi Emme 360 car seat. Our daughter was getting up set with her old car seat and the Maxi-Cosi sit her up enough to where she now enjoys car rides. The 360 feature is so nice when putting her in and out of the car. Overall a very nice car seat.
I received the Emme 360 Rotating All-in-One Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and eagerly put all its features to the test. It's evident that this convertible car seat is a high-quality product made from durable materials that feel sturdy and secure. I found the car seat challenging to install in my vehicle. Although it comes with an instruction manual, I found the instructions somewhat unclear and difficult to follow. It took me several attempts to install the seat correctly, and I had to double-check several times to ensure that it was secure. Additionally, the seat is quite heavy, making it challenging to maneuver it into the proper position. Overall, I would recommend that parents allow plenty of time to install the Emme 360 Rotating All-in-One Car Seat and be prepared to seek additional assistance if necessary. The standout feature of the Emme 360 is its 360-degree rotation, which allows easy access to your child while getting them in and out of the car. However, I found it challenging to rotate the seat smoothly when my little one was seated in it. Additionally, the buckle proved to be a safety concern as my toddler was able to easily undo it. I took a buckle from an old car seat and attached it to solve the issue, but parents should be aware and ensure the buckle is properly secured. The shoulder harness pads are also velcroed on differently than typical car seats, with an attached velcro piece on top. Lastly, the cup holders were detachable, and my little one was able to remove them quickly after being strapped in. Although it's not a significant issue, I wish they were attached differently. The Emme 360 Rotating All-in-One Car Seat is an exceptional investment for parents due to its impressive features and the ability to grow with your child, making it a practical and long-lasting option. Although using the rotation feature with a child in the seat may require some practice and supervision, these minor issues can be effortlessly managed.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat. Upon first look, this car seat blows you away by its very modern design. The install was extremely easy thanks to the step by step instructional video on the manufacturers website and the green/red indicator windows ensure confidence of a proper install. The car seat comes with many removable inserts to ensure a comfortable and snug fit no matter the size of the child. The only real complaint here is the shoulder pads are sewn on and not completely removable. Our toddler does complain about them. The car seat swivel fester is obviously he highlight feature of this design. It allows for an overall easy transition of kid to car and out again, especially for those who don't necessarily want to go for a ride and fight getting in. The swivel feature is activated by a handle at the base of the seat that then allows you to swivel it from rear facing to sideways to forward. I will say I find it a bit difficult to use though. I pull lever to would be easier in my opinion that the push/compress style they utilize. Overall we really love this car seat and are likely going to buy a second once our newborn is a bit bigger.
I'm so excited that Stellar Product Testing Panel provided me with this Maxi Cosi Emme 360 convertible car seat to test out!! Let's start from the beginning! Straight from getting this out of the box, it's a beautiful seat with great quality material! But let me tell ya, it's on the heavier side! And while I feel like it's installed well and securely, it was not the easiest installation of a car seat. This is not a seat I recommend moving from vehicle to vehicle on a regular basis. But!!! If you aren't planning on moving it around, this could be a perfect seat for you because it can grow with your child for 10 years! From rear facing, to forward facing, to booster. Starting at 5 pounds all the way to 100 pounds! Once installed, my girl was excited to try her new seat. We are currently rear facing at age 2, 29 pounds, 35 inches tall. She acted very comfortable in the seat. It's very easy to adjust the harness, 10 position head rest, 3 position crotch buckle and 5 recline positions! It comes with multiple inserts to make the perfect fit for your growing child! It's so easy to buckle my kiddo in with the magnetic chest clip and to get her out….but it also concerns me that my child is going to figure out how to unsnap that too easily. So my thoughts on that feature is tbd. Now I'm a huge fan of a revolving seat! I've owned one previously and it makes getting my kids in and out of the car so much easier. Less of a fight, much quicker and such a wonderful help for my back!! So hands down, I'm sold on the revolving motion. But in comparison to other revolve seats, the latch to make it revolve is slightly tough and in an awkward spot compared to others. This isn't a deal breaker by any means, it's just not the most simple of them all. Lastly, I love the cup holders in this one. I love that they can close in or have open sides for the sippy cups with handles! Overall, I give this a 4 out of 5 stars. Only counting off for the awkward placement of the revolve button
I have three kids all under the age of 5. I've thought I've tried just about every car seat possible, but then I got the chance to try this 360 degree rotating car seat, thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Car seat pros: Sturdy Feels very safe Easy to Install Convenient Ability to grow with your child Easy to buckle/unbuckle Extremely comfortable Lots of padding Car seat cons: Extremely heavy Very large and bulky In theory, this 360 degree rotating car seat would be extremely beneficial, making it so much easier to get a little one in and out of the car with ease. However, when actually using this car seat, the feature doesn't seem like it's something that I will personally be using much. It's nice that it's there, but I don't see myself going out of the way to buy a car seat for that purpose only. If you do think that you are interested in using the 360 feature, it is fairly easy to push the button and rotate the car seat. It will only lock in front and rear positions. The main reason why I like this car seat is how safe and comfortable it feels, as well as it's ability to fit a child for as long as they need to be in a car seat. Would I recommend it? Sure, it does feel like a very nice quality car seat. Would I spend extra just because it spins? Nah, not just for that feature alone. If you do have a compact car and looking to save room, this is not the car seat for you. If you have more than enough room, this might be the one for you!
The Maxi Cosi Emme 360 Rotating Car Seat is aesthetically pleasing. The colors are gender neutral. This carseat has more padding than any other car seat I have used. The back support pad has to stay in at all times rear and forward facing up to 30lbs, according to the manual. That is difficult if you have a child who is wider. I do really like the shoulder pads. They have grip on the back to keep them in place, which is nice. The crotch buckle is easy to change slots and has a nice pad that is removable if you chose to. I did make an appointment with the Maxi Cosi install team. They were very helpful and made sure that the seat was properly installed in my vehicle. I also used the QR code located on the rotation base and watched the videos. I could have installed this seat successfully with just the videos provided by the QR code. When installing, the seat itself is connected to a base with a cable. This makes it very difficult if you have captain's chairs. The seat itself kind of falls between the two seats. If you have a bench seat, this would be much easier. The seatbelt install is simple thanks to the red to green indicators on the base. They go from red to green when the seat belt is tight enough. The tether anchor is easy to connect to the back of the seat as well. The rotation of this seat is the best part. Getting my 9 month old in and out of the car is so much easier with this seat. When she isn't in the vehicle, I leave the seat facing the door. After I get her strapped in, I simply rotate the seat to rear facing. The lock indicator on the base tells me that it is locked in place and I hear a click. It is just as simple to rotate it forward facing. The release for the rotation is located on the front of the base. I am right handed and the seat is installed on the driver's side, so I have to use my left hand to release the latch to rotate. This has gotten easier the more I have used the seat, but it was very difficult in the begi
I received this convertible carseat from Stellar Product Testing Panel. So for starters, this seat looks amazing and is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It feels great with tons of cushion. The base was easy to install and it rotates so easily. I love that it's chemical free flame retardant, that's a huge plus. The safety tested features are spectacular on this seat as well. While it is a bit heavy, it's not terrible. Now, why I didn't like this seat and it didn't work for us, at all. The buckle, it is way too tight and no way to adjust it. It was extremely hard to snap the buckle together and once I got it snapped, the side of the snaps were digging into my child's legs. I did contact customer service, shared some photos and a video. They asked me to remove the infant pad and try again. Doing this it still dug into my 7 month olds legs and I tried it on my very skinny 2 year old. Same thing with both babies. I let customer service know removing the pads did not help this. They asked me to do a video conference so they could walk me through making some adjustments, but then sent me a video on how to adjust the seat belt in the car and that was not what the problem was. It's the actually buckle on the carseat, where it snaps. I'll be honest, I didn't follow up with any video conference. I think I can speak for anyone on this, if it's a hassle just to get a carseat to work properly, you'd just return it and try something else. No one wants to have to continuously contact customer service for something that should be ready to go, with minor adjustments, out of the box. Get the buckle between the child's legs right and this seat would be absolutely perfect. I gave this 3 stars because the seat itself has massive potential, but that buckle should not dig into your child's legs. I have 4 kids and been through many many carseats. I've never had this issue before. Please fix the buckle because I wanted to love this seat.
I was so grateful to receive the Emme 360 Rotating All-In-One Convertible Car Seat as a product reviewer for Stellar Product Testing Panel! I am a mom of 5 kids ages 1 - 9 years old. I drive a giant 15 passenger van. I am giving this seat 3 stars because of its truly innovative design and ease of use in rear and forward facing harness modes but extreme difficulty in switching to booster mode. Things I loved about it were the magnetic chest clip, the rotating base and the ease of vehicle installation. The magnetic chest clip made the whole loading process that much smoother, it snaps together like magic. The install process was smooth. The belt path is clearly marked and the directions are boldly written right on the base itself so its pretty hard to mess it up. There are two little windows that turn green when you have it tightened properly so there is no guesswork. The rotating base is genius! I have never seen a seat that does this before. You can completely rotate it while it is locked in, from forward facing or rear facing to the side position just with the squeeze of a handle, which made it much easier to load my little one in and out of my tall van. Even with three seats in a row, I was still able to rotate it most of the way towards the open door. There is also a clear marking with a lock symbol (as well as an audible click sound) indicating when the seat is locked into a safe driving position. My main problem with this seat was in transitioning it to booster mode. I simply could not do it. I tried multiple times and reread the instructions and watched all the training videos but the videos only show how to install it into you car, which wasn't my problem. I cannot get the harness system stored. The seat pad is too tight and difficult to loosen to access the straps. The crotch buckle is supposedly removable but but it does not fit through the narrow openings holding it in place. I was unable to store the harness straps at all.
