The functionality of the Maxi Cosi Tayla Modular stroller is in line with all the needs in a day with my 15-month old. It suited me walking the neighborhood, going to the park, and the local zoo. The configuration I love most is parent facing, and the configuration my little one loves most is facing outward-My little one appeared comfortable on his ride either way! Whether it be, the swivel or locked wheel positions, or various seat positions, all adjustments on stroller are EASY! The buttons are very user friendly and comfort progresses into the position options for me and little one. The Higher riding position of the seat is ergonomically better for my low back as to bend over placing him in/out, or for a needed strap adjustment. The one handed fold is a great asset. A little tricky at first while trying to squeeze the handle adjustment button and slide the opposing button. But quickly understood its function and found it truly doable with one hand. It is also nice that there are no parts to remove in order for it to fold down flat or into its standing option. The 360° shade is gold! Not only does the existing shade pull forward with ease and fantastic coverage, but the 360° option is seriously amazing at keeping the elements out. Although tucking the shade back in was my least favorite part of the stroller-maybe a size up on the zipper would make it easier to tuck it back into its secured zipped position. The quality of materials, and thoughtful design that has gone into this stroller are apparent. The unobstructed access to the storage basket that is rated to hold up to 25-pounds with plenty of room is another great highlight! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Absolutely loving the functionality of the stroller and how lightweight it is! It is perfect for our baby girl to have comfort while going for afternoon walks this spring. There are so many wonderful features, and I love that she can continue to use it as she grows!
First off, big thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this stroller. When I first opened the box, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the stroller components. It was very easy to assemble and we were wheeling the kiddos around in no time. There are some great features of this stroller that were apparent right off the bat. 1) The 360 cover is incredible. Talk about bug coverage! As the parent of a kid who is really susceptible to insect bites, I can't tell you the piece of mind this brings. 2) The ride is quiet and SMOOTH. So much so, that we actually use it to get our daughter to go to sleep some nights...seriously, works like a charm. 3) The underneath storage basket has ample room. Most of those do not allow us to carry our diaper bag. This one fit it with no problems! 4) The one handed operation is super easy and really makes set up and takedown a breeze. 5) The extending handle... is perfect. Really helpful. I'm a good bit taller than my wife and this really solved the issue of finding something that is comfortable for us both. My one negative comment: the safety crossbar is at the perfect height for my daughter to use as a teether. Within a few days, she had actually bitten through the leather-like fabric which was a bummer. Overall, this is a fantastic stroller that I would highly recommend. I'll leave you with the following quote from my 2 year old when I asked what he thought... "I love it! It's fun."
The Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max modular stroller is sleek and stylish with a touch of classy and sofisticated. I've taken this stroller everywhere including "off-road" and it is definetely all terrain and handles it amazingly, including gravel, grass and bumps. It is also very easily controlled with one hand while using your other hand for taking a drink and using your phone for a quick second. I have a 19 month old son and this stroller still worked for him while he was awake or when he decided to take a quick nap. This stroller has four reclining modes which are great for infants and toddlers! We've been on a few longer outings and my son is able to sit straight up and see everything but also able to recline back slightly when he gets sleepy and can recline back just a little more until I decide to fully lay him back in the carriage mode for his nap. The 360° canaopy on the Maxi-Cosi was very surprising. I've never seen a canaopy so large and that covered so perfectly to keep the sun, wind and even the rain off of my son when we needed it. The material of the stroller is top notch in my opinion, from the seat cushion to the covers over the shoulder straps and between the leg buckle, it is all very impressive. The reversible seat cushion is very comfortable and gives me peace of mind knowing my toddler is happy and snug. The seat cushion, being reversible, makes for an easy tranistion from hot to cooler weather but also incase something gets spilled. The storage on this stroller is great, but could be improved just slightly. The basket underneath is large and provides ample space for diaper bags, shopping bags, purses, etc. The removable cup holder is great for mom or baby. The one handed open and close feature works like a charm and is so easy to operate. The assembly was very easy. I highly recommend this Stroller. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test the Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max modular stroller.
There are so many things that we love about this stroller. Our favorite is probably the adjustable handles (both dad and I are tall!) and we also love the fact that we can collapse it to close without taking the seat off. This is a huge plus when traveling on a plane! Other neat features are the 360 degree sun shade - this protects my child from the Texas heat! It also has 4 reclining seats which is super convenient for napping on the go. Oh and did I mention that it comes with a storage basket AND a cup holder?! The Tayla stroller also makes for a smooth ride, I highly recommend it!!
I'm a huge fan of the adjustable handle and how easy the wheels maneuver. I love that it recline for different levels when my babe falls asleep. The stroller is definitely made to last and for multiple children.
The chicest stroller ever! The leather handles make it nice and easy to hold on to. The parent cup is such a bonus! My daughter felt so comfortable in it she would sit in there for hours and wouldn't wanna come out. The 4 recline positions were one of my favorite features! It took me a minute to get comfortable Folding and opening the stroller but once I figured it out it was the easiest thing! Compared to 2 other brands we've tried, this is by far the lightest, most comfortable and luxurious stroller!
I absolutely love the versatility of the Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max Modular Stroller that I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My favorite feature is that I can easily switch the seat around so baby can face me for a more interactive walk or she can face outward when she wants to see the world around us on an adventure. It's so easy to recline even to laying flat, which is a fantastic feature, especially with a newborn. My one-year-old had fun looking up at the trees above us, and I liked knowing I don't have to worry about her leaning too far forward when she falls asleep on walks because I can lay her back without disturbing her sleep. We have all four seasons here, so I love that I can use the 360 privacy shade to keep the sun and bugs off of baby in the humid summertime and that I can switch between the breathable and more cozy reversible seat cushion as the seasons change. The cushion is also removable and washable-a great feature for keeping the stroller clean. Other notable features are the high-end leather details, how light it is for its size, how well the wheels handle different surfaces without being huge, the one-hand flat fold, and upright standing when folded. The cup holder was a miss for me because it didn't fit my water bottle and sticks out so far on the side that I was afraid I'd knock it off by running into something, but it's easily removed and the large and easily accessible storage basket has plenty of room for my water bottle. I can't wait to put many more miles on this versatile stroller.
This is a great stroller if you're looking for something that is super versatile and comfy for your little one. The stroller is very lightweight and easy to use - it has a super easy one hand fold and even stands on its own (never underestimate this luxury in a stroller - I cannot live without a self-stand stroller!). I love that it has leather accents and looks very sleek as well. I was surprised and SO HAPPY that it not only comes with a rain cover, but also the bug shield/privacy shield ZIPS OUT OF THE CANOPY - SO SO COOL! Never forget the bug net again! I found that this fits in my Subaru Forester very easily with plenty of room for other stuff in the trunk as well - something I definitely cannot say about a lot of modular strollers that I have tried. This stroller also comes with a cup holder and an easy to remove double sided seat cushion. It's supposed to heat/cool your child, but I honestly think these are also great for just cleaning up messes - just throw it in the washing machine, no need to hose down the entire stroller. I deducted one star only because my (admittedly very tall) 19 month old is at the very end of this stroller and he (and me!!) are still very much enjoying strolling around the neighborhood. I wish the canopy part extended or was a little bit taller so that he could still use it comfortably. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this stroller to us to test it out. While it's not a great fit for our family, I can't wait to pass this along to a close friend who is expecting - the fact that you can very easily use this with a carseat and then as a stroller is amazing.
As a travel nurse I try to look for products that fit multiple needs, are simple to use, and don't take up too much of our precious little space. A beautifully designed stroller the Maxi-Cosi Tayla Modular Stroller is a simple and cleanly designed stroller. The stroller was a fairly simple assembly with no extra tools need to snap everything into place. Functionally, the stroller is very comfortable for my 12-month old son especially with the large canopy and sun shade which we used to help keep wind out of his face and warmth inside while walking during the winter. You should be careful when storing the sun-shade as the zipper catches it and I almost ripped a hole in mine our first time using it. The wheels are not the best, however, the front wheels don't swivel so turning it is awkward, there is not much suspension so walking down a dirt or gravel road was very bouncy, recommended for in town/sidewalk use only, and there is not a lot of tread so it would slip a lot with snow/ice. The brakes worked as they should and were easy to use. The 'One Handed Collapsing' sell of this is a bit deceiving though, you have to hold a slide latch while pushing a button and the entire process is a bit clumsy especially if you are alone and holding a struggling toddler. It's more of a one-hand and one-foot fold and unfold design. It also takes up a lot of space, almost the entire hatch space of my Rav4 and is heavy. My favorite part was that that I could turn the seat around to face me for a nap time walk; while my son really liked to face forward or recline for when he was awake and we were walking. Changing the configuration was so simple I could switch it up while out walking to fit what was happening. My son really enjoys riding in this stroller but I don't necessarily enjoy pushing him in it due to the wheel trouble. I was given this stroller to try as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
