Very easy to install.
We used these on the railing, lighting brick steps at the front of the house. Wonderful to see the steps clearly at night without the need for turning on the porch light, and getting bugs inside! The lights put out a lot of light. We used one for each step.
We have poor lighting driving up to our house. I used these on the step of the deck leading to the side door so we can see better and not trip over the deck.
I'm all about conserving energy, and light bills. lol For the price, these are fantastic. Hardest part of installation was on my end, due to obstacles such as trees, and angles of wood (to screw to) to get the best daylight. Easiest way to install is to scan the back of the light and use the scan as a template. I only used 1 per set of stairs off my deck, and haven't fallen yet. lol Really love keeping myself and others safe.
These deck lights give off a soft light that shines down on the wall above and behind the settee on our patio. Installation was easy. These could also be used low on a wall at a walkway for safety. I am very pleased with my purchase.

deck steps
We are using these lights around the yard. They come on at dusk and stay on until the morning. We love the additional light in the yard. We bought 8 and decided they are so awesome I ordered 4 more. We entertain in our back yard quite a bit and they help light up areas that otherwise would be dark.
The lights themselves seem to be a decent quality and give just the right amount of light in the evenings without being overly powerful. Screws and anchors are supposed to be given to you to attach these lights to your steps. I ordered 12 lights, so should have received 24 screws and anchors. Between the 3 boxes of lights, I received 8 screws and 13 anchors, which, by the way, are too big for the screws provided. This is an inconvenience, certainly, but I would probably buy this product again.
Bought 3 packages on 5/11/19. Looked nice until the sun wouldn't recharge all but one 6 months later. Unfortunately they have a rechargeable battery and you cannot change it. They hot glued the wires over and on the batteries. Tried getting them loose but wires broke off. Checked others and same thing happened. You just can't pull the batteries out to replace. There is no battery compartment. You have to unfasten 4 screws on the back to get to them. For sure they are a one trick pony! Don't buy these, but of course they are on clearance now. Waste of money.
