I received the “Blackest black” color and it really made a difference on my lashes! It felt lightweight and didn't clump. I would purchase this again.

However, I felt that it flaked a little too easy for my taste and left me with smudges on my undereyes by midday. I also would have liked more lengthening power to it. Overall a nice option that reminded me of my fave high-end brand!

It coats well and since the wand is curved on both sides, it applies evenly without clumping and I can get in at the corners. It doesn't lengthen as well as some of Maybelline's other mascaras, but still gives the lashes a nice voluminous look.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Maybelline Green Edition Mega Mousse Mascara to give my opinion. I think this is the first time I have ever tried a Maybelline mascara and I am not disappointed. The packaging left something to be desired. There are many drugstore mascaras that have a prettier appearance but it is what is on the inside that matters most. This mascara has the type of natural bristle wand that I prefer. The shape was thick and curved tapered towards the end which was nice but it did get a little messy. I think with time I would get used to the shape and it would not be as bad. (I left the marks in the picture so you could see). The formula is not too wet or dry it is very fluffy in texture. it gave good volume length and curl while leaving my lashes still semi soft to the touch. Throughout the day it did not flake but it did smudge a little even though I had set my under eye. I think this is a good mascara and if you were looking for a clean mascara this may be the best affordable option.

Had to do a double take because I didn't believe a drugstore mascara could be this nice. “Blackest black” makes me eyelashes pop and I like the application brush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] out of all the products I've tried in this product line if say this one if recommend to try. I love the mascara brush it comes with. take a minute to build up a layer but stays well. it's not waterproof but I'd say to try it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really like the brush on this mascara, it did an amazing job with my lashes, my lashes hold a curl for a few hours but then it started flaking on me, no racoon eyes, just little flakes of mascara over my cheeks. I only did two coats by the way. I would love it if this mascara was in waterproof formula.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For this to be a drug store mascara it did not wow me all. It took several coats to make it noticeable, not only that it was a pain to remove and I woke up the next morning with my eyes running. There are better alternatives!
Returned because it arrived loose in mailing envelope. The mascara was not sealed nor was it enclosed in packaging. I did not feel comfortable using it because it could have been tampered with or used.
