I ordered the new set washer and dryer from Maytag. I was replacing my old set that were purchased back in 1986. That set was amazing, and they still are working. I love this new set, the color is beautiful, I love the amazing size and they work wonderfully. I'm hoping this new Maytag set gives me the same service as my old set. I love all the Maytag items. At 6.0 Cu. Ft. This thing is a monster. It is everything you imagine and then some. The agitator does a great job. The thing fills up a lot in "Deep Fill" mode. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer for a month now. I am so pleased with this purchase. This machine can hold about 20 towels in one load. It has cut down my laundry to 1-2 days a week vs. 4-5 days a week. Very quiet while on wash and spin cycle. I am so glad I decided to upgrade and purchase this maytag. I can't wait to receive my dryer.

We are very pleased with our new washer we were way overdo, our old one would jump to the middle of the garage with only the hoses holding it back (lol) unless you hold it down. Thus washer is so quite and runs very smoothly. I love all the options. I love having the option of water efficiency or to deep fill for heavy soil items. The clear lid allows me to see just how the clothes are being treated. We are very pleased and look forward to receiving our new dryer as well in mid July. I purchased model #MVW8865GCO after moving into my new house. The thing does not clean clothes. It cannot handle a small load of 4 pairs of jeans. They come out in wrinkled balls, and when you stretch them out, in between the wrinkles, they are filled with dirt. It does the same thing when only loading a small batch of t-shirts. I have to result to using the blaster on my garden hose to second clean all of my garments. I have to do this with every wash. The clothes aren't excessively dirty, and the washer is never overloaded. My 30-year-old washer did a much better job.
I ordered this machine in April 2018 from my local family-owned appliance store. They only sell appliances that are made in the USA. I wanted the largest capacity washing machine so I could wash a king-size comforter. We live in Hawaii and have a lot of house guests who go through bath towels and beach towels and sheets like crazy, and I wanted a machine that could handle all those large, heavy-duty loads as well as small, delicate loads. I thought I had found the perfect washing machine. The first problem I experienced was that Maytag jerked us around for SIX MONTHS before they finally shipped my washing machine. It was finally installed in November 2018. At first, I was happy with this model. I was able to wash 8 large beach towels in one load! But within a couple months, we started noticing that clothes were coming out dirtier than when they went in. T-shirts were coming out covered in lint, hair, dirt, and grease! We called and asked for a repairman to take a look at the machine. He said they were getting complaints about this model, and he told us to use the DEEP FILL setting for every load. DEEP FILL makes no difference in the outcome of the load for us — everything is still coated with lint and hair and dirt. We have tried reducing the size the load so that everything gets adequately agitated — which also has made no difference. I am beyond disgusted with this machine and with Maytag. I have had Whirlpool, GE, LG, and Sears model washing machines, and even the cheapest, most basic machine I've ever had has done a far superior job than this overpriced lemon. I have been in contact with my local appliance dealer/service store, and I am demanding that Maytag make this right. This machine needs to be hauled away to the dump, and Maytag owes me a machine that operates correctly.
The entire machine top rotted out in 5yrs , in a florida house which i live alone and half the time im not even there, of course its not under warranty.
