We bough this stove in October 2019 and it is amazing! I can't believe as old as I am I had never tried the two oven option! The upper oven is great if you want to cook a small single item or if you want to cook several small items! Preheats in a very short time so it saves you time and money! Also the lower oven is great because it is separate and you can cook anything else you need to cook at the same time! Great for a family of 2 or a family of 10! Also does not have that useless bottom drawer! Smooth-top stove is GREAT! It is great looking, matches my microwave perfectly and finger-proof resistant! Very affordable! I love my MAYTAG appliances! Next purchase MAYTAG dishwasher and Washer /Dryer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace a 35-year old Kenmore Classic Range. It served us well; however, the technology was outdated. Our new Maytag is a joy to cook/bake with. My first project was a 50th wedding anniversary cake. I was a little nervous, but the cakes came out beautifully!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Incredible range. Great temperature control, the top oven is a game changer! Sure the lower oven is a bit low, but I need to stretch more anyway, and the convection is amazing....and it's really not that low. Elements are awesome and that bridge element will make you buy a griddle if you don't already own one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using ours over a month now. This replaced a gas double oven. There are a lot of features on this oven/stove that the last one did nor have.. my favorite being the cooking timer. When it goes off, the oven shutd off with it. If I dont hear it, I no longer worry the food will burn.
I have a Maytag double oven for 14 yrs , love it , I will be in the market for a new one sometime soon , after 14 yrs the ovens still running strong but the burners showing some wear , but hey best oven I ever owned.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this oven. It replaced the maytag Gemini oven that I had for 18 years. This time I got the convection oven. This oven is bigger inside than the previous one. It's so nice. And I love the bridging burner on top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boils water very quickly. Love having the option of using the big or smaller oven. Would have given it a 5out of 5, but the burner sizes could be better. There is a lot of space between the burners, they could have made them a little wider burners. Do love the bridge on the one set of burners.Everything else is wonderful! Overall extremely happy with the purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had our stove for about a month and have only cooked a few meals on it. It works really well, the only complaint I have is that the top is already scratched and I wouldn't say that we have done anything outside of normal cooking. We used a large frying pan to cook 3 pounds of taco meat. After that we have not been able to get the scratch out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Maytag range heats up much faster than my old (other brand) range. I was glad to have the bridge burner for my griddle, and the double oven is always my go to range. The black/stainless range looks great with my other appliances. Overall, the range is great. My only issues, and why I gave 4 stars, are the lack of numbers on the bridge burner dial. Because of the single burner and bridge icons shown, the numbers are not, making it harder to set the temperature. Perhaps the symbols could be shown above the dial? My family also wonders why "low" is shown on the bottom of the bridge burner side, because it makes more visual sense to us across from the single burner "low".
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought the Maytag double oven range a month ago and am returning it. I made cookies in the upper oven and they were burnt on the bottom in 7 minutes at 375 degrees. I made scones in the upper oven and they were burnt on the bottom after 15 minutes at 425. I made scones in the lower oven and they were burnt on the top after 15 minutes. I have been baking for many years and have never experienced anything like this. Very upsetting.
