[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Maytag large capacity front load dryer I have purchased. The first was 21 years ago! Then I had two teenage boys, my husband and I. The large capacity was great for doing large loads! So happy with the performance of the first without a lot of bells and whistles...we purchased our second one to give us a continued great performance. The teenaged boys have grown and gone but I love the capacity for bedding and for just everyday loads of laundry!

I don't need any extra features, just a simple model to get our clothes dry. This model is perfect, easy to use and our clothes come out dry every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In this age of fancy-schmancy washers and dryers, this model is a breath of fresh air! Simplicity was the selling point for me on this model. Other dryer models have so many functions and features that I would most likely never use at all. On this model, there are no display screens to go bad or malfunction. No complicated settings to figure out. If you just want a simple honest-to-goodness dryer that does a great job of drying clothes then this model is for you!

Just wanted you get out closer dry. I did have to completely disassemble it to convert it to propane. When I did, I found a couple of spare bolts laying inside. Luckily they didn't seem to go to anything.

I absolutely love this gas dryer! Had to replace a 45 year old Whirlpool dryer. Wanted a dryer to match my Maytag Centennial washer that is 10 years old and working great! I like the large door opening! Makes it easier to put clothes in and take them out. Dries quickly and clothes come out dry and soft with no wrinkles. Very quiet machine. Easy to hook up and operate. The only compliant I have is the door was hard to open and close, but my husband sprayed a Teflon coating on the metal piece and now it's not an issue. Would highly recommend this dryer. Good buy for the money! I would recommend using the leveling parts even if your floor is level. Also, I like that the lint vent is on top.

bought this a week ago after power surge burned our 7yrs gas dryer. So far great looks like it has more heating power or it is just hot summer weather. One slight issue is the door clip which seems to be on weak side when you open the door it make some weird yanking noise so wonder how long this door will last other small issue is the light it won't turn off after few min or sec you have to close the door shut for the light to be off [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
