We have had our pedestals for 8 years. They are terrific. They place the units at a comfortable height and the drawers are perfect for storing laundry-related stuff.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't completely sure about the pedestal when I bought it. But it is a must have. It has a large draw for storing cleaning supplies, laundry detergent etc…and is designed specifically to fit even large containers. Also, it raises the washing machine to the perfect height, so it's easy to load and unload. Pedestal is made of sturdy material and supports and stabilizes washing machine perfectly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel I must start with that I work for Whirlpool Corporation. I bought these for my two new front load units. The drawers slide easily and the storage area is large enough for several items. I love not having to bend over as far to reach into my front load units. They really are a must have. My previous pedestal had the welds break that my previous washer rested on and sitting on the floor it was rough for my old back to get clothes out.
I have had these before. Good to bring more height to the washer and dryer. Great storage so detergent etc. has a convenient compartment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We had to replace a Maytag 3000 series washer. I was hoping the old pedestal would work on the new one but it didn't fit the new one. I ordered this one and when I received it, it has almost the same dimensions as the old one. When this one is mounted, it does not fit perfectly like the old washer. The old brand was flush in the back. The back of the new washer has a two inch overhang over the pedestal. The front however does match up with the front of the washer. I thought I would have to return it because it was two inches shorter in depth but it does work.
Bought brand new Maytag washer and these pedestals.Dryer fits, front to back, but washer is 2" deeper and so hangs over the back of the pedestal by 2".Seems to work and I cannot find another Maytag pedestal with deeper dimension so I guess I will keep and hope it does not cause any imbalance in washer action.
The new model washer is deeper than pedestal so it doesn't fit. The new model washer and dryer doesn't have the connection so can't attach them. Maytag needs to make pedestals that fit new models!
