I have a couple recipes I've used this brown gravy mix in. One I cooked beef cubes steaks in crockpot and sprinkled this mix in with the steaks and some water. Great taste and the cubed steaks cook so tender in crockpot. I've also used with my beef pot roast. Flavoring is wonderful my husband loved it 😍
This mix was so convenient. Had some frozen meatballs and added mushrooms, worcestershire sauce and the brown gravy mix combined with water. Threw them in the crockpot for a few hours. It was delicious as is however I also added some sour cream to make them stroganoff style. The flavor was rich and creamy. Will definitely buy again!
Gravy is made easier and tastier with this. There is so much flavor in the package, and it is easy to use. By adding it, you can achieve the right consistency and flavor. A little color and all the ingredients you will need for a delicious gravy. I love how useful this is!
I liked that I could add more water to extend the amount of Gravy made and tibreduce the sodium content level. I could also determine the viscosity of the gravy.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. It's the time of year where the crock pot is pulled out, there are lots of cool weather get togethers, and entertaining friends and family happens more often-especially for the holidays! This gravy packet is perfect for all of the above, and is a holiday tradition. It's quick and easy to use with straightforward instructions. You do not need to go out and buy a whole shelf of spices to make chili once-although we did add a dash of some of our favorites like smoked paprika, roasted garlic, and salt free adobo to give it just a little extra pizazz! Flavor is good and everyone was pleased!
Well, you could knock me over with a feather. Good-tasting gravy from a POWDER? I would never have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself.It can be used for so much beyond just gravy- use it to flavor up some roasts, add a little to soups, add to other dishes that benefit from flavor boost and some creaminess. And of course for use as a gravy. I sometimes like a little dish of gravy alongside some fries. Disclosure: this item was sent to me for free in exchange for writing an honest review.
If your not wanting to make gravy from scratch this is just as good! I used it when I was in a pinch and it was awesome very great flavor will definitely have this in my cabinet for those lazy nights when my family wants gravy ! Recommend it to my friends.
I will be honest I have used this product before and it was great. When make mash potatoes I have to have gravy. The sample I got in the mail I messed up. I know the review wants me to be honest about this sample. I forgot about it on the stove and burnt it. My recommendation don't forget about it. It is not fun to clean that pot. Normally, when I have used it it is quick and easy usually to add to potatoes in my house.
McCormick sent me this free sample of their brown gravy through the BzzAgent sampling program. I would recommend this product with reservations. I have used the chicken gravy packet for years and have always loved the classic flavor. I was interesting to try the brown gravy. The gravy tastes good and is very easy to make. My issue is that the ingredients are not the best. There are a lot of other more natural products on the market, and are comparable for taste and ease of preparation. I would buy this product if I knew I needed a quick, easy, readily available gravy, but if I had the time I would consider other options.
10 pounds of the Smallest Potatoes ever ! !☹️ Who ever pack this needs to be Fired! Who puts Bread in the Bag with 10 pounds of Potatoes ??? I didn't think Potatoes even fit inside a bag ! There was 1 can per bag ?? But the two cans of pie filling was together but looked like something happened bent cans badly. The Sour cream and cottage cheese was bent half into. Look like someone Stepped on them and then kicked them.
