Want to have great tasting hamburger/cheeseburgers? Well pick up a bottle of Mccormick grill Mates for Hamburgers and you will definitely be eating a great burger. I also use this spice in my meatloaf stews etc. Very low price also thank you to Walmart. Delivery was fast
We made our burgers using the McCormick® Grill Mates® Hamburger Seasoning and let me tell you they were phenomenal! The flavoring added was perfect...not too overwhelming (or underwhelming lol). I would definitely recommend adding this to your burger rotation!
We used this to smoke some burgers tonight and it was an absolute hit with our kids. (They're 3, 2, & 1.) We worried that it would be too spicy for them but they devoured them... then had seconds! It's was nice and tangy, paired work the smoke was perfection.
The variety of spices included in Hamburger Grill Mates Seasoning adds a hint of spices to your hamburger creations. It works best when you mix it in with your raw meat before you make your patties. This really brings out the flavor of the meat without over powering the taste of your meat. I also like to put it on the lettuce and and tomato. This product is a powerful addition to the goal of the "perfect hamburger."
This McCormic hamburger seasoning is delicious!! It smells like a hamburger should all on its own. Even before you add or cook the meat. And with the meat it tastes like perfectly seasoned burger. We were generous with the seasoning and really enjoyed it! We will definitely be re-purchasing it when ours runs out. We wanted to try it in a dish as well and decided to add it to a hamburger helper. There is a bell pepper flavor, salt, pepper, and a mixture of other spices I am not sure what they are, but they taste great. It took the hamburger helper from fine to really yummy. So it is not just for hamburgers. It is defiantly worth giving a try. We normally use lowry's seasoning salt. It's kind of our go to. This is WAY better.
It gave my hamburger a flavor similar to Burger King's charbroiled burgers. I enjoy the flavor that it brings to the table, and I will definitely buy this again.
Looking at Grill Mates for the perfect burger is like being a kid in a candy store. You are not quite sure which one you want to try so why not all of them? lol This Grill Mate deserves a fancier name like the rest of them because it is excellent and just the plain old "hamburger" seasoning name doesn't do it justice. It has a great combination of salt, black pepper, chili pepper, garlic, red bell pepper, onion and sugar as far as I know. No other spices are needed. I browsed the McCormick website for recipes and found an absolutely fantastic burger recipe everyone will remember. I ate two burgers they were so good. Here's the easy to make McCormick recipe, enjoy! Feeling the Blues Burger 2 lbs. lean ground beef 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 2 Tbl. Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning 8 Kaiser rolls, toasted Simply mix the first four ingredients and shape into 8 patties. Grill 4-6 minutes a side or until 160° is reached. Serve on toasted Kaiser rolls with your favorite toppings and condiments. This recipe will bring rave reviews worth writing home about! :)
I added this seasoning into the ground beef and it mixed in very well. This gives the meat patty some much needed flavor. You can taste a hint of toasted onion and garlic. There is also a little kick to it because it has black pepper and chili pepper. Overall a very good and convenient seasoning to have.
This is a simple and classic blend, imparting a good steakhouse flavor to grilled meats, and flavoring ground beef. At 1 tbsp per pound, the 2.75 oz size goes fairly quick in the summertime, and I often use a little more than that. I find it to be a little coarse of grind myself, so I will sometimes put some through a pepper mill. I am happy to see that McCormick uses no preservatives, dyes, or mysterious ingredients in this blend. It is packaged with an approximate two year shelf life. Everything is roasted and savory in taste, and this blend goes well with grilled meats as well as pan cooking. A very masculine blend...not for lettuce. If you mix this with ground meat you might want to grind it a little, especially if you are in a hurry for the flavoring...but be sure to slather some on the outside of whatever you are cooking, it gives a good spicy crunch. Enjoyed this spice and will get it again.
Love the creative spice blend, however it's too salty for me. I prefer just using the spices and then adding a pinch of salt at the end. Though, this did make my hamburgers taste more like from a restaurant vs basic backyard bbq meat.
