I bought this for my 7 year old grandson. He loves it. This product is well built and excellent for a child who loves to look at the stars.

This was on sale and purchased for our son and his son (6) for Christmas. His father is in the Navy and will be at sea until October. Now, every time our grandson searches the sky for "Dad", he'll remember what they shared. A treasure at any price...
this product was very easy to put together, and works wonderful. i love it. the direction were very understanding. thanks
This was a Bithday present for our Grandson. He is very interested in the Solar system. He has enjoyed it very much.
My grandson and I put this item together in less than 15 minutes because this is a very easy assembly. Once we got use to adjusting and calculating the power of the telescope it was both fascinating and exciting. On a clear night we got an excellent view of the stars and during the day we found some very interesting life forms on the earth. This is a great start up telescope for both astronomical and terrestrial viewing.
Bought for my 10 year old daughter to get her started. Great for large visible objects like planets, etc. and ideal for the beginner.
well i bought this for my brother, and he loves it but, as for me it was Ok I guess, but then again it was worth the price.
Took a litle time to assemble, instructions not clear. Bought for grandaugther she loves it.
I purchased this telescope online for a Christmas gift on Black Friday. It was delivered in just a couple weeks. When I gave the gift to a family member and she opened it immediately so I could put it together. The attachment bolt used to fasten the telescope to the tripod base was missing. I contacted Meade and was informed to send the entire telescope back so they could send a new package. I refused to spend more in shipping to send the entire telescope back when I only needed about a $2 part to complete its assembly. A supervisor agreed to send the correct part. It came but it was not the correct threads as the telescope has. Again I contacted Meade. This time they sent an entire tripod assembly. The holes do not match up so again I do not have a usable part. Here it is almost March and I still dont have the correct part needed to assemble this telescope for her. Talking about cruel and unfair, how would you like to be this 9 year old so excited about using your Christmas gift and after 2 mos, still needing a $2 part to have it assembled.
