I was anxiously waiting for this to arrive and it came 4 days after placing an online order. Easy to assemble. It has 5 screws with handles, no tools needed. After assembling it, I took it to my bathtub which is about 25 years old, it's a porcelain covered steel or cast iron tub, and found that it would not fit width wise. All tub walls narrow at the bottom so that water will go to the drain, and this is where I had problems. Look at the picture of this tub seat closely. The rubber feet on the legs are VERY WIDE. I measured from one rubber cover to another and it is 21.5 inches wide... my tub at the bottom is 19 inches wide. If I force the seat down, it almost goes all the way down, but those rubber covers on the legs are actually to big, causing the legs to not go down all of the way. I am going to attempt to take off one of the rubber covers on the legs and if I can, then I'll see if the hardware store has a smaller rubber cover... otherwise, I think the rubber covers may be trimmed in order for it to ease down into the tub easier. Since my bathtub is not one of those plastic type, I could sit on this seat and force it down, which I did do to try it, and I noticed that the rubber covers then bent in order to get the legs down with my weight of 135 lbs. on it. Don't know whether to return this or not. Before purchasing this, measure across the botton of your tub. Also... because of the rubber covers on the legs getting in the way, the legs cannot be adjusted to a higher height... they would have to be in the shortest leg length. When I tried to raise the legs up higher, the seat then became to wide to fit into the tub.
