Easy to handle smooth ride,nice.
This is truly what we needed. My mom has gotten to the point where she couldn't walk before when we were out and about with only her walker. I could put her in her walker but had difficulty pushing her in it. This item fits her needs much better since it can be used either way. It is easy to fold up and light enough to pick up and put in the car. I just wish the breaks were easier for her to set, she has less strength than what she use to have.
This modern miracle has given my 85-year-old mother the freedom to go shopping and go to her Dr. Appointents... When she gets tired she can have a seat and rest... If we are pressed for time I can swing down the footrests and she rides comfortably... It is more manageable to load in and out of the car than her wheelchair... I am so glad they finally made a Combination Rollator Transport Wheelchair... You get two for one and a whole lot of convenience...
Assembly was fine, but I will need help to put the wheels and back on.. I have not used it yet, but plan to do so. It looks as if it were very easy to use. Folding to transport seems easy..which is what I needed this for.
Light weight, easy to assemble, and very comfortable! Liked it so much bought another one for my sister.
This was exactly what I was looking for! Very light and sturdy.
I was expecting that the wheels would always remain locked and gripping the handles would release the lock for movement. When one looses balance, it is more likely the persons grip on the handle would be reduced or removed, causing the wheels to unlock and slip. Everything else is great. The idea of having 2 in one is great. Unfortunately I have to return this item.
Haven't used it much yet but it is very nice.
Excellent though it's a bit bigger than I thought it would be
Let me say first off that this is probably the best and most all around useful assistive device we have ever owned. My wife has had Parkinson's for almost 20 yrs and has "gone through" almost every type of walker, wheelchair, rollator, U-step, etc they make. It is versatile, and light works well as a walker and easily converts to a comfortable chair for transport when needed. The accessory features however are not very useful. The front pouch is in the way and if a foot comes down it by accident, it will rip and be useless. (Happened twice). The brakes are a weak area. They tend to break and stop working. Last night she lost balance with it and fell sideways and the rear left wheel spokes shattered, leaving the wheel laying on the floor. (She was not hurt in the subsequent fall, but the Translator did not prevent it). In the 10 months we have had the chair, we have so far spent almost as much having this device repaired as we spent on it new. My conclusion is that if I could find this design in a "heavy duty" version, I would get it for her, but the Medline Combination Collator/Transport chair as we received it does not stand up to regular/long term use in the real world.
