Purchased this device from Best Buy to replace an older Sennheiser TV headphone that was no longer compatible with my new TV. It is definitely pricey but works perfectly with the new Samsung 8K TV and in the end it was cheaper than buying new TV headphones because I can use my Bose headphones with this device, which are of course much better than my TV headphones were. So in a way, you're getting the best of both worlds! Setup was easy because I was not yet done setting up the TV, so it was not fully mounted to the wall yet. If you have a TV that's already mounted and takes two people to take down, you're going to want some help with this. Protip: I taped my transmitter up to the back of the TV so that it's not visible along with the cords. Once you have everything set up, you don't really need access to a transmitter, but I took a photo of it just in case so I know exactly where the buttons are in case I need to feel for them later.
