I am 81 years old and for years becomming an anemic and requiring infusions. My ferritin level would drop into the teens. The iron supplements would cause stomach cramps and constipation. I gave this MegaFood Blood builder Iron a try. I take it three times per week. It helps to keep my blood counts up.
Got this for a young teen to help increase iron level without it being upsetting to the stomach and it has worked well. It's great that it is sourced from natural ingredients that aren't harmful to the stomach linen. The teen has been using for some years and hasn't had tummy upset or constipation that is typically obtained while on iron supplements.
So happy to have found these here. I usually order from Amazon. Have been taking them since January to help restore my blood levels after 8 years of worsening anemia. I was Had fibroids removed last year, then one round of iron infusions in November of 2019, and started taking these in January 2020 and iron levels have been normal ever since! Do not hurt your stomach and can be taken anytime of the day. Best of any supplements I have tried in the past.
My physician's assistant agreed this is worth a try to absorb iron from a food source based vitamin tablet. Thusfar, it seems to be working without any negative side effects like from other types of iron supplements I've tried. I'm hoping to feel better soon and especially for anyone suffering from low iron this is a wonderful thing!
I've been using this product for a couple of years after being told I had iron deficiency anemia. After many tests and nothing found, I tried iron supplements. Nothing helped until I tried this product. My bloodwork has been great ever since. Highly recommend.
This iron does NOT upset stomach or cause constipation! The best I've ever tried and I have been anemic all my adult life....40 years. Wish I had found it years ago!
I bought this item as I am pregnant and the ingredients contained are essential particularly during this time. I rarely find a supplement that yields such immediate and substantial results with such clean, high quality ingredients. My energy levels are well up when taking it and I have very little of what is seen as normal pregnancy fatigue. I feel a lot sharper mentally as well and have increased concentration. I would recommend this in a heartbeat and I will maintain taking it after birth as well as needed. I am not an advocate of random supplementation but this is certainly a gem for those who lack on these nutrients due to diet or other issues.
My iron level was low. One of my Physicians suggested this Blood Builder. It has raised the level to normal, without any of the usual side effects of iron.
I was taking my prescription iron and it was making me constipated but I did get more energy. So I bought these pills instead. I feel no different at all but at least I'm not constipated but I'm very disappointed in the supplements I don't think they're very potent or maybe I have an old bottle I don't know
I got these to avoid the icky iron pills and expensive iron infusions. I've been anemic for most of my adult life and have been looking for better ways to get my iron up. These pills are not what I needed. As soon as I started them, I was up all hours of the night nauseous and having all sorts of stomach issues. I've only been taking them for a week, but after today I'm done. I can't spend another day or night feeling terrible.
