My husband has been actively looking for the "just right" products to detail our automobile. There are many different brands out there with a lot of empty promises. I had the opportunity to try the 8 pc Meguiar’s Automotive Detail Bucket in exchange for my honest review. I received this detail bucket at a very bad time. Here in Texas our weather has been rainy, wet, and cold; however, I did manage to squeeze a car wash in. I have never heard or tried these products prior to now and I am extremely impressed with the products. This detail bucket comes with almost everything you need to have a clean car. The bucket consists of the following items: Quik Mist & Wipe Detailer – This is an in between wax that is ideal for touch-ups. It keeps your car with that just waxed look. Hot Shine Foam – This is for cleaning the tires. It’s easy to apply. I would recommend using a tire cleaner with a tire brush prior to using this product. Deep Crystal Car Wash – This is a non-streak soap that gets your car really clean and doesn’t strip the wax. Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner – This product is used to clean all interior surfaces. It conditions and does not leave your interior greasy. This product also has a sun-blocking agent. Cleaner Wax – This is a wax that is easy to apply and leaves your car with that showroom shine. The set also comes with 2 sponges and a wash bucket. This is a really good deal and I would strongly recommend. This keeps you from having to purchase each product separately which could become very costly.
This Meguiars bucket detail kit is awesome. I am really happy that I got this because the bucket is just the right size when you make up your washing solution to wash the car by hand. The Meguiars car wash that came in the kit does a really nice job on washing your car. Then you use the Meguiars was that was also in the kit and it was so easy to apply where it is liquid and all I have used is paste before. The liquid wax does really leaves nice shine and polishes up really pretty. The hot shine foam does a real good job of cleaning off your tires and leaves them shiny and looking like new. The Quik detailer is just for quick touch ups, you spray it on the rag, wipe, and then turn the rag over and wipe again. It works really great when you get a little bit of dirt on your car or if your neighbors accidentally water and get your car, with the Quik detailer you don't have to do a wash and wax on your car, it is kinda like the in between. The interior detailer is great, I think it does a really great job and doesn't leave that greasy look or feel and it doesn't feel slick like some of the other products out at. I am going to buy another and I am going to buy and give them as Christmas presents. I am going to tell my fiends about this auto kit. It is great.
This 8 piece complete detail bucket kit really is an all in one for your car detailing needs. It is in my opinion, a great kit for the Saturday morning "clean car ritual" Everything you need to get your car looking clean and sparkling The kit itself comes in the large yellow bucket and includes not only the car wash , but also includes a polish wax, interior detail product, a tire dressing and a quick detail spray for doing a quick detail to keep your car looking nice. Keep in mind, your car should be pretty clean before using the quick detailer spray. There are sponges you would need as well, The car wash is very nice and really makes your car shine. The interior detailing cleaner works beautifully, and did not leave the interior feeling slick or wet feeling as armor all would do. There was not any residue remaining after using, however, it did leave a mild odor which dissipated after sever days . The tire dressing is just that. You will need a good tire cleaner and wheel cleaner and a brush, before using the dressing product. If you don't clean the tires good, you will just be covering up the dirt with the product. . I would highly recommend this kit for any car fan however, the hard nose car guy / girl, will also need some additional products. And I might add, a chamois is a must for drying the water off the car. The Meguire Scratch X is also great to have to remove light scratches and swirl marks from the clear coat. In summary, Meguire is a leader in this type of product and I highly recommend this Bucket Kit, and I have used these Meguire cleaning products for a long time
The Meguiar's 8 piece complete auto detail bucket kit really is an all in one for your car detailing needs. Everything you need to get your car looking it's best - just add water! The kit itself comes in the large yellow bucket and includes not only the car wash and wax but interior detailer and the sponges you would need as well. The car wash has a nice foam and really makes your car shine. The interior detailing cleaner works beautifully and although it does have a slight scent the smell is not overpowering. The interior detailer also did not leave my car feeling greasy like some interior cleaners can. It didn't feel like it left behind any residue at all which was nice. The scent was light but clean smelling without being too much when you first get into the car after cleaning it. The smell of the cleaner lasted a few days. I would highly recommend this kit for any car fan in your life or anyone that like simplicity when it comes to keeping their car clean. It really is convenient to have everything you need all in one place ready to go. Especially for someone like me that doesn't particularly love cleaning my car.
If you want to get professional results at home, use Meguiar's products. They offer the greatest value for the money when compared to having your vehicle professionally cleaned. I've purchased their products individually before and loved the quality of it. I love their Car Wash Soap and the Tire Foam Spray. Those two are my favorites and I've purchased them many times in the past. The Cleaner Wax is another awesome product! It really lives up to it's name. I had stains baked into my paint from parking under a tree and this product totally restored my paint. It cleaned all the stains off and left a beautiful shine behind. I received this 8-piece set for free from the Spark Reviewer program. I'm so glad I did because I couldn't have afforded to get all these items at once. I've been waiting for a clear day to demonstrate the soap wash and the tire foam, but it's been either freezing outside here in GA or it's raining cats and dogs. Can't wait til the weather clears up so I can make use of this sturdy bucket and all the products that came with it. I highly recommend this product. I've priced this same system at other Auto Accessory Retailers and Walmart's is by far the most reasonably priced.
The Meguire 8-piece complete auto detail bucket kit has almost everything you need for washing your car. It comes with a bucket, sponge, wax applicator, car wash, wax, interior detailer, quick detailer, and tire cleaner. The bucket is a nice size and was able to hold enough water to soap my entire the car. I especially appreciate being able to store everything inside the bucket after I’m done with it. I don’t have to worry about misplacing any of the products or having them take up a lot of space on a shelf somewhere. The car wash foamed up nicely but sadly the sponge that came with the kit did not pick up the soap bubbles nicely. It needed to be softer and more absorbent. I had to be careful to make sure I was not scratching the paint with the sponge because of the lack of suds. The wash did leave a nice shine on the car. I wish the kit also came with a microfiber cloth. It would have been perfect for applying the interior detailer or wiping off the wax. The quick detailer comes in handy for removing bird droppings or tree wax. It would make a great gift for someone!
I was surprised when I received my kit as I was half-expecting to receive small sample bottles that some of these types of kits usually contain but these are FULL size bottles! The set comes inside a large heavy-duty bucket with a durable handle that can be used way after the products run out. The set includes a large soft sponge for washing your car and a nice wax applicator pad, both of which are of great quality and with proper care and cleaning, can be used multiple times. The set includes the wash and wax as well as interior detailing spray that according to the label can be used for a variety of interiors including leather. It also came with a bottle of spray to use for the exterior in between washes to clean even bird droppings from the paint and finish. The set also comes with a nice foam spray to use on your rims and tires that will not only clean them, but give them a nice wet appearance for some time afterwards! Personally, with the holidays coming up, I feel this would make a GREAT gift for any car enthusiast, or even that guy you can never shop for. It has the trusted name of Meguiar’s that most of us recognize and trust for their excellent products. Who doesn’t love their car clean and shiny?!
The Meguiar's 8-Piece Complete Auto Detail Bucket Kit is a nice gift idea for anyone who casually washes their car. If you are serious about detailing, this kit isn't for you. I won't say this is the best product out there but it does serve it's purpose. I do like that it has the wash and storage bucket. It makes putting everything away simple and keeps it all together and neat. This kit comes with Meguiar's 3.5 gallon size Wash Bucket, 16 fl. oz. Deep Crystal Car Wash, 16 fl. oz. Cleaner wax, 16 fl. oz. Quik Interior Detailer, 19 oz. Hot Shine Foam, 16 fl. oz. Quik Detailer, Car wash sponge, and Wax applicator pad. While I would love to say that I was able to use and test the hot-shine foam for my tires, I can't because the nozzle was broke off and laying inside the bucket, however the cap was in place on the can. There was no way to fix it as it was completely broke off at the tube. The car wash was average. It cleaned the car as expected and the wax was also average and worked as expected. I used the quick detailing solution for a quick clean inside the car. It smelled like window cleaner and did a decent job. The cleaning detailing spray had a clean smell to it, not like the other and it did a good job as well. It left the interior clean and with a pleasant scent. The sponge wasn't the best for removing bugs stuck to the front of the car but did a fine job washing it without scratching it and the wax pad did fine applying the wax. Overall this is a nice decent kit and would be a nice gift for Christmas or a birthday. My opinion, it would be great for the teen who just got their first car.
I expected better from a name like Meguiar’s. It’s a nice idea to put full size products in an easy to grab useful wash bucket, but when some key ingredients are missing, the buyer misses out. I’ve been washing vehicles since I could drive. Part of my wash process includes degreasing the wheels/tires so that when a tire dressing is applied it will work correctly. This kit doesn’t have a degreaser of any sort nor does it have a scrubber that is aggressive enough to tackle wheels, tires, or bugs that were slammed into at highway speeds. The sponge it comes with will work, but only if your car is already fairly clean. The soap seemed highly concentrated and likely a good value, I will probably purchase it as a separate item in the future. Another part of my washing routine is drying with a chamois. Water spots are unsightly and make all the labor of washing the vehicle by hand, go the way of the suds down the drain. I had to use my own chamois to complete the job after using this kit. The interior of our vehicle gets abused by our kids on a daily basis. I was disappointed to find that the cleaning detailing spray seemed to be more water than anything else. I also didn’t care for the smell of it. The quick detailer spray was a little better and did a great job on all of the plastic parts of the interior. After letting the tires dry, I sprayed on the tire foam and let it work. The spray took two applications to look acceptable. I’ve used high end cleaning products from Europe and sometimes it’s worth it to spend some money on products that will help you work rather than waste your time and send money down the drain with the suds.
