My niece was always pretending to bake a birthday cake for her stuffed animals, so this was a perfect solution.
well made- practice singing Happy Birthday. 2 year old learns that object can represent an event.
My grand-daughters birthday and my daughter told me she thought she would like it as she played with one before, when she got it she played with it with all her dolls.
I've purchased this twice over the years. This time for my 4 year old nephew, and previously for his older siblings. What kid doesn't love to play birthday...and this is perfect for that! The box it comes in is great for keeping the pieces together but also allows easy accessibility with the open top. My nephew loves putting the candles on the cake and cutting out the pieces for serving. And most of all singing the Happy Birthday song. A classic item.
My granddaughter (age 2) loved it and her older sister (5) showed her how to play with it. It was the perfect birthday present!! And, they are still playing with it!!!!
