My 2 year old grandson loves the play food. The play food items are high quality and very realistic.
Have been looking for play foods that weren't cardboard that last about 15 minutes. Absolutely love the plastic foods and they'll last forever if taken care of.
Good variety of foods. My 4 year old granddaughter loved the set, which allows her to learn how to create a balanced meal.
Our 3 year old granddaughter loves playing house and loves the play food by Melissa and Doug. It is the nicest quality and stands out from other manufacturers. I would recommend to all grandparents looking for a gift for their little busy homemakers.

Great - was a gift for a friend's daughter. She loves it!
I was surprised how sturdy this is and i appreciate the variety. I would have like two sets of some of the items like the meat and the rice so my daughther and i could play together and have a meal together but that's not a deal breaker.
This would be a good product EXCEPT that each food piece is "scented" and smells like insect killer. The company states it's safe and acknowledges it's scented - for what reason I can't possibly imagine. When I requested a refund, the company told me I would have to ship the items back to them to get it which means incurring additional expenses to ship it. I'm very disappointed with Melissa & Doug.
