My little great-niece loves the beach so these will be super useful and fun next summer! Good quality like all the other M&D products I have purchased.
We bought these for our three kids to use at the beach on a recent vacation. First off, they fit easily in our suitcase and didn't take up too much room. The kids loved them and used them in the pool and at the beach and carried them all over the resort without a problem - all the other kids at the pool abandoned their pool toys to use these too! As with any other Melissa and Doug product we take away from home, we had lots of parents commenting on them and asking where we got them. Now we can't wait for summer to use them at home!
I purchased this set for my 17 year old and he really enjoys them. I love the bright colors, that the buckets are numbered, and the different sea creatures that are cut out at the bottom of each one. As an added bonus, He also enjoys rolling these around on the floor.
Melissa and Doug have the best beach toys. We used them all summer and did not have a problem. We lost a few in the sand but It's rare that you can go a whole summer without breaking the toys. They last and are the best to play with!
Sturdy plastic preschool sand buckets. Grandson loved them for Easter surprise.

My daughter is 16 months, got her a set of these buckets to take with on our vacation(s). It stores well in the suitcase - great quality plastic and not flimsy at all. Very entertaining, she plays all day. I usually put water in the buckets and she just shovels one pail to the other. Stacks great. Use for bath time too.
Will use at the beach with my 2yo grandson. Love the words and numbers and that nesting can be practiced.
This item was purchased for a 3 1/2 year old who loves to play in the dirt. He has made many forts as he calls them and loves the imprint that comes out on the bottom of each pail! Excellent product!
