I had been staying away from Under Armours compression shorts because they were not as good as the original ones. The first compression shorts UA made were nylon not like the newer styles. I saw this pair as a new arrival and decided to give it a try. I do weight training and long runs on a regular day. When I tried them on, they felt better than the compression shorts of the last few years. The material is light, kept me dry and provided compression in all the right places. I still wish they went back to the old style as several people have said on reviews but over all I was very happy with this purchase. The compression shorts stayed in place and did not ride up thru long runs or squats. I would give these more than 5 stars if i could. I liked them so much that I bought 3 more pairs and got rid of my other heatgear compression shorts. Buy a pair and you won't regret it.
I am a woman who weight trains, I'm 5'4 150lbs, 13.5" arms, 37" chest, 30" waist, 40"hips. This shirt is a about 2" too long in the torso for me but most shirts are because of my height. It fits amazing from shoulders to waist. It's not super form fitting like most womens shirts, but it's not baggy like a man's shirt either, it's perfect. I bought the marine green and it's the olive tone you'd expect, I'm going to buy the blue one I love it so much!
Everything about it is as expected, had Addidas Predator set before and this is a perfect replacement/ addition as that is quute old now, about 10 years old and you can see a bit of wear and tear seems identical materials wise as that so expecting to last quite a lot, perfect fit and comfort as the Predator, very good
I've worn these running outside in sub freezing temp and also inside working out. No issues. Comfortable and just the right fit in the waist and length. I own several pieces of Under Armour gear. All of it is fairly good stuff. I expect these to be no different and intend to wear them the rest of the winter, temps permitting and well into spring.
these compression shorts are amazing! i'm not an athlete, so i wear them for comfort purposes. they are snug and fit just right to eliminate any discomfort. the waistband is super high quality compared to a champion pair i own (which has already torn). highly recommend!
I ordered 6 pair of which 5 will be returned. I have admit these are really comfortable but not compression shorts. They feel more like underwear and I doubt they could be washed more than 6 times before they start to fall apart. Even at the outlet price they are much too expensive considering the quality. The pair I'm keeping have gone thru the wash 3 times and are already showing signs of wear. Lucky for me I only opened one package.
After purchasing these items, within a month the compression shorts had holes in the croch area. When these holes occur, they become very uncomfortable and cannot be used for exercising. I get that the new fabric is suppose to be more breathable. But, when you blow them out in less then a month, then it's not really worth the money paid for the shorts.
I ordered a pair of these shorts on March 31, 2019. I have worn the shorts three times for a total of three days worth of wear. The shorts now have five holes in the crotch area. Very disappointing, and not worth the value at all.
"Stretch-mesh gusset & inseam panels deliver strategic ventilation" By strategic ventilation they mean "tiny holes that break down after a few months" I've bought UA compression shorts for quiet some time but this year they changed the design and added "ventilation". Even the first time putting them on I wasn't impressed, figuring that they would fall apart more quickly than my previous pair. And they did just that. I bought three pairs a few months ago and they all are starting to deteriorate, which has been uncomfortable to say the least. This item is too over priced to be falling apart after a few months.
I have over a dozen of the original charged cotton shirts, both with and without the Freedom Flag logos, in various stages of ware. There is absolutely no way these (the 2.0 version) are the same charged cotton material breakdown like the website says they are. These are thinner, cheaper and feel like they have more poly in them. They're looser, larger and have a straight cut to the torso which makes me look like I'm wearing a blanket. The logo also sits on your breast now instead of your upper pec muscle, which is why I won't even try to get used to the new material, no matter how much I wanted a solid black version of this shirt. Move the logo off my breasts, please and thank you.
