This stuff actually works, I typically get bumps on the back of my neck after I get a haircut. So I decided to buy Afta and I applied it to the back of my neck before I got my haircut and to my surprise I didn't get any bumps on my neck afterwards. Best $2 that I ever spent, I also use it on my face before I shave but I hardly after get any razor bumps on my face.
Definitely the best of all I have tried. The cleanest shave and least discomfort with my rotary electric shaver. Just note the instructions and let it dry on your face before shaving.
This is the best pre-electric shave lotion that I have found. It is more like a gel which evaporates quickly and leaves your face ready to be shaved smoothly.
Could not find this product in the store. I ordered online and received it in 2 days. I have used it for years and is the best product on the market!!
I got tired of this product not being on the shelves on my past few trips to Walmart, so I finally came home and bought it online. I've been using this product for many years, and I highly recommend it. I have never had any burning, stinging or irritation on my skin when using it -- and you can't beat the price. You can't find too many "pre-electric" shave products on the market, but I've never really wanted to try another brand since I'm extremely pleased with this pre-electric shave lotion.
Best electric pre shave product I have ever tried. Couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. Bought it at local walmart but went back to buy more only to learn it's not being made any longer so happy to find it online.
Works muck better than Williams Electric Shave and has a better scent.
Product great as it does not have a greasy base as with Williams product. It holds beard well and promotes close shaves without multiple passes which serves to cause undue irritation to your skin. Smooth shave - less irritation! I recommend this preparatory product for all new electric shaver users, and for the experienced users as well.
Short and sweet: - smells good (this: from a man who strongly dislikes the smell of most colognes, perfumes and aftershave products) - not oily, but does (unfortunately) feel like a lotion going on the face - - use a little bit - just a couple of large-ish drops does the whole face and neck - - lotion-y feeling does not last past the shave, so I rate "very good" in that regard - not sure that it significantly improves the smoothness of the electric shave (note: denatured alcohol definitely did improve the smoothness) The full, boring story: Found out by accident that my Braun electric shaver does a much better job shaving (my face is much smoother) when the razor is dipped in (denatured) alcohol before the shave. So: looked for a pre-shave "juice" designed to do the same thing. Afta Pre-electric and "Lectric Shave" were both recommended. Afta is rated slightly higher, so I gave it a try.
