The first chair we ordered had a badly cracked finish, so we returned it to the store and ordered a new one. The second chair was great. I love the look of it and it is comfortable. It does not lean back, only rolls and rotates.
The chair looks great. The material is the best but it is a great value for the money. It is very modern and it looks great in my son's room. It is not very sturdy though , so I wouldnt buy that for a heavy adult. The pain job could be better ( I got the white one). The natural finish is probably better. Would recommend though if you want something to last just couple of years.
My daughter is pleased with her new desk chair. It is a great chair for the price. Super easy to assemble. Only complaint is it is difficult to get the chair down if you are less than 75 pounds.
The chairs are actually better than you would think but due to poor packaging 4 out of the six we purchased were beat up.
Chair looks nice and seat is fairly comfortable. Had trouble getting one of the leg rollers to stay in so i hit it in with the palm of my hand and now it stays in but doesn't roll that well. Easy to put together with the exception of the wheels.
The chair showed up with deep scratches on the back of the chair. It also showed up late. It's only slightly comfortable to sit in
A year ago I was updating the eating area of our kitchen and wanted a modern-looking dining set with the convenience of rolling chairs. So I ordered these chairs along with the Shell Bentwood Round Dining Table, all in the Espresso color. (Can't say that the wood finishes match, but they do blend and it makes for a nice inexpensive set, especially with the chrome bases.# The chairs are really cute with the perforated backs. The holes in the back make it easy to grab and move the chairs. I think they would be harder to grab if they didn't have those holes to put your fingers through for a sure grip. The chairs were well-packed and super easy to assemble, and took no time at all to put together. The chairs raise and lower according to the diner's height which works great with kids, instead of using a booster seat. Though because of the waterfall seat design #in front# I wouldn't put a toddler on one of these--I'd be afraid they'd slip off. Of course these chairs were not designed to replace a high chair and would not be safe to use as such. The chairs also swivel which makes it easier to turn and get up from the table #or sit down#. The finish cleans up nicely--especially since the chair is actually just one piece of wood--no crack in the back where crumbs might collect. After a year the edges of the chair do show some normal wear and tear, but a dark furniture marker would fix that in no time. I also like the star base as there's no chance these chairs will tip when sat in and rolled. HOWEVER, if you look closely at the picture, the design of the star base is a real problem. The metal protrudes out over the wheel in such a way that a person sitting in these chairs can really hurt the back of their heel if they aren't careful, especially if their heel is bare. #The wheels often turn under the chair so this metal edge is left sticking out.) This has happened to us a number of times, so much so that I may try to replace the bases with ones that don't have the protruding metal over each wheel. Or just insist that we always have our shoes on when we sit down at the table. If it weren't for that design flaw I'd give this product five stars and highly recommend this chair to a friend. They've served wonderfully as dining chairs in our kitchen. I like them enough that I would rather find a way to replace the bases than replace the entire chair.
I didn't even get to assemble this chair. The packaging is inadequate at best. It was so torn up upon arrival the delivery man was trying to hold it all together. The packaging is too flimsy to support the weight of the product inside. Once carton was opened, chair was chipped in 3 places so returned it to a local store. I am hesitant to reorder as same issue may occur. It's a shame they aren't carried in stores as it is a cool looking chair.
Chair came in pieces, broken in numerous places, the box didn't have any damage so it was obviously packaged this way. Very disappointed :(
I was very upset at how this chair was delivered - it had a hole in the box and a leg of the chair was sticking out of it. Also, a large chip of wood/material was missing from the chair itself. I was giving the chair to my 5 year old niece for Christmas so there was no time to return it beforehand or I would have had no chair to give to her.
