I knew I wanted a chair to put in my dorm, but I didn't want one of those small, flimsy, folding ones you can get from Target for $20. I found this chair and thought it was perfect, and it is! I was able to put it together by myself in my room in about twenty minutes just by following the instructions and using common sense. It's super comfortable and fits nicely up against my bed. The only complaint I have is about the price. It's pretty expensive for a pillow and a couple metal tubes. However, I don't regret buying it.
My husband assembled it without swearing! I bought it for my teenage daughter and she loves it, the cat also loves it and it's super big and comfortable! The cushon needs adjusted from time to time.
As soon as I put this chair together, I sat in it and didn't want to get out. Very comfortable. It was slightly difficult to put together, but only because I'm hardheaded and didn't follow directions. So...read the directions. Anyway...great chair!
Thus chair is a definite winner. Great quality across the board with everything. Sturdy frame. Nice and LARGE in size . Very comfortable for anyone who is looking for a gaming chair or something to get comfortable in while watching a movie ..... Worth every penny spent.
We bought two, one for our 9 yo daughter and one for our 11 yo son for Christmas. I don't think they have left them since then. They are real comfortable.
This chair is so easy to put together - I did it on my own. It's so well worth it. It's so comfortable. I fell asleep on it the first time I sat down. Great for watching TV or just relaxing.
I live in a very small apartment and I wanted a chair that was inexpensive, comfy, but light, so I could set it up without help. A recliner would be great but they are way more expensive and a lot more heavy and bulky. I got hooked on the saucer style chair with the college dorm saucer chair, from Walmart, for $20 bucks, and it lasted me a year. Even though I'm small and light it eventually fell apart and I was ready to graduate to something better. So far I find it quite cushy and use it in conjunction with the same college dorm storage ottoman (from Walmart) that I used with my previous saucer chair. I have my recliner setup. As the last reviewer stated the sling, underneath the chair pad, is grey. But you only see a glimpse of it showing when the pad is on it. And the chair pad is simply loose on top of the sling to slide around. None of that bothers me. It's not like it's terribly slippery or anything. The pad may need readjusting from time to time. No biggie... I was under the impression the oval shape went horizontally, making it a wide chair. However, the oval shape does go vertically, giving a short person, like me, plenty of back and head support, while cradling me around the sides. As for assembling it, the oval frame does require a little patience to screw the legs onto it as there is some tension in the frame design and the holes are a little tricky to line up. But seriously, there are only 8 pieces to the whole frame, and only 10 bolts, and it wasn't that hard to figure out if you are a little handy. It would have been a bit faster and easier with a friend holding the pieces together, but not impossible to do alone. The two wrenches needed to bolt it together are included. I'm very happy with it for my needs. Comfy, but light enough to move around easily and vacuum around and underneath it.
This chair is suprisingly big and comfortable. We purchased it for our daughter's room, where it makes a perfect "curl up and read" chair. It also is very accommodating for adults, feeling strong and sturdy.
This is a GREAT chair. I bought two of them for my son's game room. My son is just a teenager and LOVES them. Putting them together was fun. There is a mistake in the instructions, but we figured it out. I even sat in the chair & I thought it was comfortable.
one of the anchor points for the chair cushion support sling was not tapped correctly for its fastening screw. Poor attention to detail by the manufacturer. Surprising at this price point.
