I was very happy with this changing table. I had a small spot to fit this changing table and it fits perfect! I love the high border around the top. The only bad thing is when my husband assembled it. For some reason the screws for the front panel were too long and poked through the top a little bit. Other than that, I love it and it was a perfect fit for me.
I bought this and matching chest of drawers with the intentions of getting a cheap product and painting it. i was pleasantly surprised with how nice and sturdy they both were for the low, low price. I still painted them and replaced the knobs with nicer ones and they came out great! However, they looked very nice in the original finish with the original knobs. Great value for low $$.
It has been a while since I have bought any furniture-I suppose this is fine for the cost-I was hoping certain parts were made a little sturdier , like some of the drawer bottoms and the cardboard on the back. I didn"t know if it was suppose to include the pad for the top of changing table-but we didn't get that-so that means I have to go look for that item-
I think this changer is really pretty, but the legs on it are very weak. My husband was moving the changer against the wall after he got it put together and the leg broke. We had only had it together for 15 minutes. That is a major disapointment.
On the positive, this is a beautiful piece of furniture and wonderful that the changing table can be taken off to grow with a child. However, my husband and I were disappointed that we paid so much for this changing table and it had parts made out of cardboard (i.e. the bottom of the drawer) and flimsy plastic. But there were so many parts to re-pack and we are so close to my due date that it wasn't worth the hassle to return. My husband actually had to reinforce the bottom of the drawer since we plan on using this through more than 1 baby. Also, we thought it was odd that they ask you to hammer metal parts into the particle board pieces (my husband was very gentle and still chipped some of the covering). Overall, this wouldn't be a bad piece if the price wasn't so high... when you pay close to $200, you expect something a little more substantial.
This changing table was definitely not what I expected. Assembly was a pain. I have never seen any product which required this level of assembly. What disappointed me the most was the quality of the product. Joints didnt connect well. A few pieces didnt fit together. Nails and blots used were flimsy. I doubt this changing table will last more than 6 months.
