What a difference in charging docks from the Q2 to Q3! I really appreciate how the design allows for easy placement, followed by a chime, letting me know I have a successful charging connection.
Works as advertised. I like the rechargeable batteries that are included for the controllers. Using this dock, my headset and controllers are fully charged for every VR immersion.
I needed the charging dock for my meta 3 Walmart had it in stock and I received in a fast timely matter
It's a nifty little charging display for the meta. I didn't realize that rechargeable batteries for the controllers came with it. That's a plus, which makes me love it even more
It was a gift so I don't feel that I can answer the first two questions accurately. I do feel the price was high but I know this was due to the manufacturer and not Walmart
Nice but won't work with add ons
I'm new to the Meta Quest as I used to use Samsung Gear V.R. I bought the accessories but the headset charger doesn't seem to work very well. First it's green lights, then brown, then red in no apparent order of charging. You can't tell if it's charging or not. Right now its green on the headset but brown on the charger? I moved it a little and now it's red on the headset. How does it go from green to red when it's sitting on the charger? Maybe I should return it?
The charging dock is easy to install but I have issues with it. You need to make sure that where you place it, it will not be bumped or vibrated off the contacts. If you put the controllers on the wrong side it will blink but the machine n issue is that I have had to unplug and allow it to reset to make it work.
Looks great but very hard if not impossible to get it to charge if you have the headset with elite strap with battery. Also noticing hand controller disconnects since using the rechargeable batteries. Poor execution for a supposedly premium product imo
Won't hold the elite strap with battery in the charging ceaddle without the seamless support of a small box... Thanks Meta for lying to your consumers...
