Just beautiful. Delivered on time as advised. My husband and I could not wait to mount it on the wall. We did use different hardware to secure the rack to the wall. My husband used heavy duty anchors because, if you stop and think about how much each bottle weighs (8 of them will fit), plus the glasses ... we wanted to make sure it was solid. I already have some wine glasses, however, with the same purchase I bought the Libbey Vineyard Assorted Clear Wine Glasses. The collection contains 1 glass each of the following: 8.5 oz Port, 12.5 oz Riesling, 16 oz Pinot Grigio, 18 oz Chardonnay, 19.75 oz Merlot, and 22 oz Cabernet. Very happy with both purchases. I plan on going one step further and will be acquiring some silk grapevines to hide the heavy duty anchor hardware. Thank you WalMart and thank you UnbeatableSale.com. Please look at the photo attached.
Got this for a friend for Christmas who just bought a new house, because my mother has the exact same one and we BOTH love it!! Adds sophistication in the kitchen. My friend absolutely loves it too! She installed it as soon as she opened it!! When I get a home of my own I will definitely be purchasing one for myself!!
We were looking for a wine rack to hang on the wall and display our wine glasses from all the wineries we have visited. Plenty of room for wine as well. Saw the same or similar racks on other websites for much more. We are very happy with our purchase and have received many compliments.
Ordered a 2nd one of these, one for home, one for lake cabin. Easy to hang, sturdy, attractive. Holds 21 stemmed glasses and 8 bottles.
It's a great rack and it holds a lot glasses depending on the style. Putting it together was easy my husband used different anchors to make it more sturdy instead of the ones it came with.
I was looking for something that would not only hold my wine, but would also hold all the glasses that I have. This rack does that perfectly. It not only holds my 8 wine glasses, it also holds my 2 margarita glasses. It looks amazing on my wall, and I've gotten several compliments on it already.
I love this wine rack. I had looked forever in stores and online when I stumbled across this item. Prices were much higher on other sites for very similar racks. I decorated it with some fake vines and even took my $3 clock from Wal-Mart and added some old wine bottle corks. I love the way it looks in my kitchen. See attached picture.
The instructions are not as detailed as I would have preferred, you have to use common sense to assemble it. I would liked to have a clear idea of which is the correct way step by step. I was worried when I finished how much weight I would bear. Due to how it is built the last hole is left without a screw on both sides, I think that's the reason why it has 4 holes on each side but it only comes with 6 screws. Other than that it looks really nice and feels safe. It is only a matter of time and seeing how much it resists.
I have been looking for quite some time for a wall wine rack so that I could add some decor to my kitchen. I found comparable wine racks at other sites for nearly double the price. This wine rack is by far an exceptional find. It is sturdy and holds 8 bottles of wine [or liquor] seemingly without problems. From the picture of the wine rack, I thought that it had a black matte finish, but in person, the metal is smooth and has some sheen. Also, the hardware that came with the wine rack did not really seem to hold too well. I had one end of the wine rack go into a stud in the wall and the other end went through the hollow wall. I went to the hardware store and picked up some toggle clips to hold up the side of the wine rack that went into the hollow wall more securely. Since it is fairly heavy, I wanted to make sure that it stays in the wall.
The description in the on line catalog is way off. The product is not in stores and cannot be seen prior to purchase The website states: Product in Inches (L x W x H): 12.5 x 25.0 x 30.5, and states that it will hold 14 glasses and 7 bottles. The actual dimensions are 12 inches deep, 14 inches high and 30 inches long, There are 7 racks for glasses and each will hold up to 4 large wine glasses or 5 smaller ones. The rack will hold a total of 28 to 35 glasses. It has 8 slots for bottles. The angle of the rack is too steep to be practical (glasses bunch up and overlap at the base.) The unit can be adjusted with great difficulty by bending the supports. The picture in the online catalog shows it almost level and is misleading.
